This resort has very bad food quality. The service staff is always fighting in front of the client. The maintenance is horrible. You call in to fix something in the room and they come and don't fix it. Elevators broke constantly The entertainment staff didn't seem to want to be there. again, poor quality I have stayed in other cheaper resorts in DR that are way better and have better service and entertainment. Not to mention the food. Dominicans are great cooks in general and this resort had very bad quality of food. If you choose the hotel for the extra things to do with your kids it is actually not included. And you have to pay $150 per day in order to play with your kids in the Arcade (that includes all kids amenities except the water slides) Will not recommend this resort to anyone

We moved from Grand Sirenis and finised our vacation at Dreams Onyx. We loved this resort, the staff are super friendly and attentive. Shout out to Karina from slide pool bar, Deiry lifeguard from pool slides, and Luis lifeguard from beach. They did a great job cleaning beach even though had seaweed and we were able to get in. I would recommend going early in morning. The rooms were very clean, spacious and even though we went in August the air conditioning was great. Also, they have a VR Arcade where the attendant Claudia was super nice. You can buy package for kids to play until midnight every day. The restaurants were well kept and food was excellent. Only bummer there is you can't make reservations. They have preferred members but i dont think much difference there if you dont want to pay upgrade. We had a great time and already planning to go back for Christmas.

This property is huge and at first seems overwhelming, however, everything is right near all of the main attractions. Also, if you're not into walking, due to the heat and humidity there are tons of golf carts roving around willing to take guests wherever they need to go. The food is amazing with lots of choices of restaurants to eat in. However while they say no reservations needed there was usually a long wait at certain ones on most evenings. Except the buffet, which did have a great food and plenty of seating. While it is an all inclusive and that means drinks I did notice since the pool bars tended to be busiest during the day most, not all, of the bartenders I encountered did not seem happy and on more than one occasion did not give the correct drink or quantity requested, or looked annoyed when asked for anything that wasn't easy. So I guess my suggestion would be to keep it simple at the pool bars since they are already overwhelmed with guests. I loved the lazy river and slides. Also the main pool was huge and a lot of fun too. The restaurant staff in all of the ones we dined in were wonderful. Particularly the hibachi chef and staff. Also special shout out to the wait staff in Cin Cin (Medditeranean) for going above and beyond. All in all I really enjoyed our stay and would return here if I go back to the Dominican Republic again.

The food was nothing out of this world. The lazy river and pool bar was great and the staff were nice. The game room and child care room was an extra cost. Room service food is limited to a burger and fish and ships
