This hidden gem met all of our needs and expectations. We recommend the Select resort experience. Our Select room included a swim-up pool featuring direct access to the adult only swimming pool, bar, private beach and separate dining area. The entire staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, attentive and hospitable. We recommend the daily buffet for your meals. The food is delicious, abundant and offers a wide variety. The resort is located in Sosúa. It’s close to the airport (POP), and accessible to all the local attractions within a short drive to Puerto Plata. For the adult only experience, the Select option is the best way to enjoy this resort. The other dining options and entertainment activities were not enjoyable. Do your research. For a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable experience, Casa Marina Select is worth the trip.

Facility needs a lot of upgrading. Exterior plan is stained and makes the hotel look old. Pool has lots of chipped and uneven areas to in the adult only area. Bedroom was well kept and clean. Food was average.

Our experience at Select at Casa Marina was truly exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The drinks and food were excellent, and the pools and beach were stunning, offering an awesome view of the sunset. What truly set the experience apart was the staff, who were consistently supportive, kind, and incredibly friendly. We will absolutely be visiting this hotel again.

The hotel surprised me! The staff is very friendly and kind. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable bed and room. The food was very good and with variety of meats and. The hotel looks clean in all places, have many places to enjoy the view of the sunset and the beach. The beach is private so only the people can enjoy the quiet place without sellers surrounding. Definitely I will come back again for extended time. No constraints.

Room was cleaned daily. Staff is friendly more on the adult side, found a few not so friendly people in the Italian and Mexican restaurant. The food is okay - don’t expect top cuisine, definitely better in the restaurants than the buffet. The adult side is way more quieter than the other side. The views are very nice here with a nice little beach. Overall - if you want value, this is it. If you want upscale- not here. Needs some upgrades including resurfacing all swimming pools.

I stayed in the resort for 3 nights and it was an wonderful experience; the food was unbelievable good, staff super friendly and always with the correct attitude to assist also the restaurant by the edge of the ocean was breathtaking. Beautiful location with plenty of activities and nice resort. However, food is terrible and service is average at best. Buffet food is bland and we got sick after eating first meal at one of the resort restaurants. Can get what you need but don’t count on having drinks refilled or friendly service.
