My only problem was the lack of detail attended to cleaning the rooms. I had 2 rooms and it was clear there was no attention to detail, as they left items such as dirty glasses on the floor. Just mainly made the beds. Other than that occurring at least twice, my stay at the Michelangelo was superb.

Fantastic for the most part

The breakfast menu and the breakfast was fantastic. Food was fresh, tasty, and abundant. There was several healthy food and beverage options. The staff were friendly. Jan was especially friendly and helpful. I would like to point Jan out as offering excellent customer service. The location was also perfect from the perspective of being close to all attractions. The beds and rooms were comfortable except for three issues: the air conditioner was unable to cool the room, we could not open the window as there was a lot of noise emanating from the street outside and the hotel has a practice of spraying a certain perfume in the rooms which we did not like and we found to be too strong (and we did ask them to refrain from spraying the perfume which they did for that night but must have forgotten about our request as the next day they sprayed our room again.

Easy check in, tram/ metro nearby. Could walk to all major sites. Pillows were to bid or too flat nothing juuust right for me. Street noise was quiet, other guests a few nights too loud in hall. Breakfast was very good, gets crowded at primetime. Very good hotel, do recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good wirh a great choice, a lovely relaxing bar in the evening with great local beer. Small shopping mall on one side with a good variety of shops and quick food outlets ( the vegan one was amazing and so cheap). Close to the Metro too and a fantastic retro book & record shop!! I only wish the hotel had the BBC News on the rooms TV rather than GB News which is more views than news but other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.
