Overall I give the property a fair marking. I do love its proximity to areas of interest and if you are a super budget person this is the place to go. After that is when I saw problems will list the bed was horrible no support, carpet really needed a good cleaning, in the restroom light kept flicking on / off shower constantly clogged up and I know this is an older building but taking lift is almost a waste since you have to go a floor above your floor and walk down to get to the room. Then found out most of the staff quit which should have been my first indication this is going to be a mess.

Long weekend in Prague

Firstly we were given the wrong room against what we we promised. the following day we were put into the room we requested however the heating was hardly on and remained that way for the duration of our stay. On the Saturday we had no hot water to shower with and over the weekend we had no housekeeping to clean our room.

I usually don’t leave reviews on hotels but I feel that this particular hotel needs to be reviewed simply because we were so disappointed with our ten day stay in a the Klarinn Hotel that is obviously nothing more than a “Cash Cow” for the owner, and nothing more than that. Prior to our arrival I had great communication with the hotel. They arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, and even said that we could leave our bags in their office because we would arrive prior to the check-in time of 2pm. And even though the front desk didn’t open until 10am, the young woman, that was working the day of our arrival, opened the hotel early, just for us, because she knew that we would arrive before they opened. She even told us that she would try to have our room cleaned and ready prior to the normal 2pm check-in time and would message us when the room was prepared. And by 11:30am our room was ready. At first sight, our room looked nice. It was old; which is what we wanted, and it seemed to be clean. There were towels and soap in the bathroom. The bed was covered with two duvet covers and two pillows. There were two attractive old-world chairs with a matching table, an armoire and a beautiful old display case. There was even an in-wall safe. But things would change when arrived back to the room that evening. The bathroom had no shower, just a bathtub with a handheld showerhead, which was no problem. We just thought it would have been nicer if there was a curtain to help cont

It is a quite hotel. Location is very convenient to historic sites of Prague, with good public transportation. The rooms are very big. They can easily accommodate 3, 4 people. The service in the hotel is minimal. Sheets and towels are old and worn out, the beds are old but surprisingly comfortable. I hate to give this one a low rating because I enjoyed the quite big room and had no major issues, but truthfully it is a 3 star.

I had an excellent stay at Klarinn Hotel, which is in a prime location—walking distance from Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town. The hotel is on a quiet street near the river and a tram stop, providing a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere away from noisy bars or restaurants. We stayed in a spacious standard double room on the 4th floor with a large bathroom, including a bidet. While the slanted ceiling windows didn’t offer much of a view, the room was comfortable. Some areas, like the bedding and decor, could use a refresh, as the hotel has an older feel. However, this adds to its old-world charm. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7, but the team was friendly and helpful, especially Patrick, who made our stay even better. There was only lukewarm water on the first night, but it was hot on the other two nights. The towels were clean but well-used, and a couple of extra pillows would have been nice. The room had a small fridge and seating area, which added to its comfort. While I didn’t try the breakfast, I found the restaurant staff friendly. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring Prague, especially with the amazing deal I got for the stay. My suggestion would be for the hotel to consider reclassifying itself as a 3-star, so guests have realistic expectations and are pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely stay again if I found another great deal!
