The Lost Sierra Lodge
Welcome to The Lost Sierra Lodge, a comfortable mountain basecamp thoughtfully designed and well-suited for golf trips, wedding groups, multi-family getaways, and close friends traveling together.
With true dining space, generous seating, a fully stocked kitchen, pool and poker tables, a hot tub, and multiple outdoor gathering areas, hosting is easy here. The Lodge is centrally located about 10 minutes from both Portola and Graeagle, placing you close to golf courses, wedding venues, breweries, trails, and local favorites.
Our roots in the Lost Sierra go back generations, and we’re always happy to help guests experience the area like a local.
A Home Designed for Group Travel
When you enter the Lodge, the home opens up with warm gathering spaces, natural light, and room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The layout was intentionally designed for groups - making it easy to spend time together while still offering multiple places to relax, play, or step outside.
Some guests gravitate toward the pool hall, others to the great room or deck, but the home flows naturally between spaces so no one ever feels crowded.

This is a lofted, open primary suite overlooking the pool hall below, offering space and light rather than full sound separation. Wedding dress hook provided. Disposable earplugs are placed on each nightstand. Walk-in closet includes shelving, hangers, emergency fire ladder, heaters, extra fans, blankets, and supplies for children and dogs.
— Bedrooms 3 & 4: Queen beds, closets with shelving and hangers, ceiling fans. Each includes an additional twin air mattress.
— Bedroom 5: Full bed, dresser, ceiling fan.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval.
— Up to two dogs permitted
— $50 per dog, per stay fee (reflected in the listing)
— Please include all dogs in your reservation so the home can be prepared properly
If an undisclosed animal is discovered, reimbursement may be requested for documented additional cleaning or damage. This helps us fairly compensate cleaners and maintain the quality of the home for future guests.
-------------------Winter Travel & Snow Conditions-------------------
This is a true mountain property, and winter weather is part of the experience.
— November through April, guests should be prepared for snow, ice, and changing road conditions
— AWD or 4WD with snow tires and/or chains may be required depending on weather
— No refunds are provided for weather, snow depth, or road conditions
— Standard cancellation policy applies
We make reasonable efforts to plow the driveway and access road as snow accumulates, but snow removal is not a guaranteed amenity. Shovels are provided for walkways, decks, and light snow removal. Guests are responsible for arriving prepared and using appropriate footwear and caution during winter months.

For guest safety and property protection, there are two exterior-only security cameras on site.

— One facing the driveway and parking area
These monitor exterior entry areas only. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private spaces.
-------------------Cleaning-------------------
— $250 standard cleaning fee applies to all reservations
— For stays longer than eight nights, a required mid-stay cleaning is scheduled on the ninth day ($250)
— This is not a daily housekeeping service
-------------------RV Parking & Hookup-------------------
RV parking is permitted with prior approval.
— RVs may not be used to increase guest occupancy
— RV hookup available for $50 per night when arranged in advance
-------------------Early Check-In & Late Check-Out-------------------
We’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out whenever possible.
— Availability depends on cleaning schedule and adjacent bookings
— In some cases, expedited turnover may be available as a $100 upgrade
— Timing can only be confirmed closer to your stay
