Excellent apartment, strictly new, with a fantastic private terrace of 31 m2 area and a fabulous view of the “Casa da Música” (House of Music) and surrounding area, with the sea on the horizon, facing west (beautiful sunset). This is a new building, with great finishes, located in a very nice and quiet place.
You can find two metro stations at 500 meters and an autobus station in front of the apartment building. In a few minutes you can reach the Porto Historical Center.
The airport it’s at 12 Km distance from the apartment. By metro it takes 22 minutes to the nearest apartment metro station that is “Casa da Música”.
From the apartment you’ll have, on foot, easy access to cafés, bakery, supermarkets and other commercial establishments.

Excellent, will be back

This is one of the best apartments we have rented for our holiday. Everything needed is provided for a self catering holiday. Also, lovely welcome gift of Port Wine, cakes and fruit. Although a parking space is provided, there is ample public transport options very close by so car is not required. Located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood with choices of supermarket within walking distance along with small local shops. An added bonus, is sitting watching the sunset on the balcony. The whole esperience was enhanced by Sandra the hostess who was very welcoming, informative and always available if required. We will definitely return.

Perfect

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was absolutely immaculate with all the extra touches that made it feel like home. Sandra was there to see us in and see us out. She even left fresh fruit, sweets and a bottle of port to welcome us. Modern kitchen, a massive terrace with panoramic views and secure underground parking. A great location within walking distance of historic Porto, groceries, public transit and shopping. Definitely one of the best units we've ever stayed in.

An oasis in a very busy Porto, perfect location for us.

Lovely property, spacious and clean with fantastic terrace. Perfect location for us, out of all the hustle and bustle but easy access to all of main attractions of Porto. And great cakes couple of doors away. Sandra had left plenty of local information, along with the port and cakes! If I have to make a negative comment it was the padded bedheads. I suffer from asthma and the fewer dust catching items the better, but that definitely did not spoil my stay. Indeed should I ever return to Porto I would love to stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Musical View. The location was perfect. The place was spotless.

We were met by our charming hostess who couldn’t do enough for us. She toured the unit with us showing us how everything worked and answered all our questions. She spent time reviewing a map she had for us showing us and gave directions to everything we wanted to see. The patio was a real treat - we sipped wine and watched fantastic sunsets several evenings. The place was very comfortable and quiet. Not only did she leave us wine, fruit and pastries, she came over on our last day to make sure we got our taxi without difficulty. Definitely a five star location.

Booking was very efficient with questions answered promptly by Sandra. Excellent Information about the apartment, location and places to visit arrived by email. We received a very warm welcome from Sandra at her apartment. She was keen to help with any queries about the area. The apartment is exactly as described on the website. It is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the outdoor space with open views. The location is excellent - walking distance to central Porto and with excellent public transport. Don’t miss the Casa da Musica which can be seen from the terrace. We highly recommend this lovely holiday home.

Exceeded expectations in every way

Lovely apartment and easy to get to via the metro. Sandra meet us there and provided invaluable information on the area and also the apartment. The welcome gift was thoughtful and appreciated. Great location for both the beach and riverside but preferred the riverside, very cosmopolitan. We would definitely recommend the apartment and I would love to go back.

Wonderful convenient base

Property was clean, spacious and with all the mod cons. The terrace was a perfect place to enjoy an end of the day glass of wine and savour the view. Sandra our host was a mine of useful information and the guide she prepared was great to help us decide what to do. The arrival gifts of goodies - scrummy pastries, juice water and port were a delightful thought. I would highly recommend the apartment.

Coup de coeur pour Porto

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours en septembre 2017. L'appartement est superbe, très propre, bien équipé, bien situé près du métro, avec une charmante terrasse. Sandra nous a accueilli chaleureusement avec Porto et gâteries (gâteaux et fruits). Elle a été généreuse de son temps et nous a informé sur les commerces de proximité, épicerie et restos à distance de marche. Le guide préparé par Sandra est bien fait et utile et nous indique les endroits à ne pas manquer. Notre classement de 5 étoiles est amplement mérité. Nous avons adoré Porto! C'est un coup de coeur. Le Douro et son environnement sont plein de charme. Les portugais sont sympathiques et on mange très bien à Porto. Une visite dans les caves à porto s'impose ainsi que la découverte des divers édifices porteurs d'histoire. Ne manquez pas de visiter la gare de Sao Bento, les églises, de prendre les trams rustiques! Notre appartement était exceptionnel. On s'y sentait comme chez soi. C'était d'une propreté exemplaire, fonctionnel et fort joli et ce, sans parler de la superbe terrasse. Notre hôtesse Sandra a été d'une grande gentillesse et empressée à répondre à nos besoins. Elle a d'ailleurs rédigé un guide pour les touristes qui s'est avéré d'une grande utilité. Nous recommandons totalement cet appartement!

Well equipped apartment in an ideal location

Thank you Sandra for letting us stay in your lovely apartment. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was lovely to start and end the day on the balcony. The information/guide you provided about Porto ensured we made the most of the time we had available. Thank you also for the port, fruit, pastries and tapas, this was very welcome when we arrived on Sunday evening. We hope to return to Porto again and would certainly recommend the accommodation.

Fabulous new, clean apartment - wonderful host!

This apartment was the highlight of a two-week long trip that took us to a number of Home Away/VRBO apartments. Sandra was a very thoughtful and helpful host, she even provided us with a number of food goodies and a bottle of Port to start off our visit. She took the time to mark up a map to show us where to find groceries, restaurants, and various sights that we were interested in seeing. The apartment is very nicely furnished, almost new, spotlessly clean and the huge 5th floor private terrace provides a great city view with a nice night sky view after dark. We had a problem with the water heater shutting off the first might we were there. We left a message for Sandra and she was there with her husband first thing the next morning to make an adjustment that took care of the issue. We recommend this property very highly to anyone planning to visit Porto.

C'est la première fois que nous sommes accueillis avec autant de gentillesse. L'appartement est conforme à la description, confortable et surtout très propre. Evidemment, la terrasse est un atout primordiale. Je recommande vivement cette location. Nous embrassons Sandra que nous n'avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer. A l'année prochaine j'espère. A nice stay in Porto

In May we spent 10 wonderful days in this great apartment. It has a lot of space, it is clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the calmness and of course the large roof terrace.
