Overall the hotel is excellent. Room was a nice size, clean and had a nice view from the window. If not a big breakfast eater, a nice cafe across the street to get a coffee and pastry. As well, they offered numerous English speaking stations on the tv. The only issue we had was poor internet service. It was inconsistent and we lost connection often while using.

The place was clean and maintained. Walking distance from all kinds of shops, dinning, and sites to see including the Douro River. Parking was about a 7-10 min walk but overall a good experience.

The lobby and breakfast room were new lookingband clean. Our room was dirty. The floor was black! Area around hotel very dirty. Lots of drinking and thr result is what it is.

Bolsa is basic. The room we had was small and view to side of building. Someone recommended. It is definitely central and the front desk guy was great but disappointed with room. No coffee either. Only place on our month trip in Europe that didn’t have coffee. Would suggest Cale guesthouse across street instead.
