The Perfect Home Away From Home

We had everything we needed for a great week away - comfortable accommodations, lots of space, fully stocked kitchen, etc and the best sunset views. We fell in love with Cape San Blas and are already planning our trip back next year!

Makin Memories is spot on

We loved our stay at Makin Memories! The house is in perfect condition and accommodations/amenities are thoughtfully and purposefully placed. This our family/friend group’s 20th year on the gulf coast in October and this was one of our favorite trips!

A Vacation to Remember!

We had the best vacation we have had in a very long time. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. The lack of people on the beach is what we loved the most. You don’t have the selection of restaurants you do in the bigger beach locations but we were so happy not to fight crowds and crowds of people. Highly recommend Cape San Blas and this beautiful home!!

First time in the area. House was everything and then some!

The property was not complete when we first rented but the property managers were very good in calming my fears and reassuring my worries! Everything was as described. We had an amazing time.

A Blast on Cape San Blas

This property is amazing! We filled up the house with family and friends, and we were all super comfortable. The amenities are top notch. We loved our beach and pool days and also our visits to Indian Pass and Port St Joe. Thank you to the homeowners and to the management company for a perfect week!

Amazing home!

Makin’ Memories is the perfect Cape San Blas home. We have vacationed at CSB for 15 years, and this is one of the best homes we’ve ever stayed in. It is beautifully decorated, clearly organized and labeled, There were plenty of beach supplies including towels, chairs, and toys. Perfect fall break vacation!

Makin' Memories on Cape San Blas

We enjoyed our stay at Makin' Memories! The beach house was clean and as represented by the information we reviewed before renting for the week. The owners thought of everything and the house had everything needed to make you stay great and carefree. The home is on the beach and has a pool that is great when you do not want to go down to the surf. Overall a great experience and we would recommend this house to anyone looking to rent a great home for a week that easily accommodates 14 family members.

This was a great experience from the beginning to the end. Donna did a great job from the beginning with answering questions to sending additional pictures because this was a new listing. Family Vacation

We LOVED this property and it was perfect for our family with the little ones. The pool was awesome with a big step that the kids could play on. There were plenty of chairs, umbrellas, corn hole game, and toys! We booked a Hibachi company to come cook a meal for us, which was delicious and LOTS of fun. My husband and I buried a couple treasure chests that we found on Amazon and the 4 and 5-year-olds dug them up. They loved it. Highly recommend this house!

Makin Memories 2022

This was a great experience. No complaints at all with the house. They had lots of extras such as beach chairs, beach towels, shampoos and soaps. There were hooks in every room for hanging towels, clothes, etc. Our only complaint would be the bunk room-would prefer 4 single bunks as opposed to 2 queen but we made do.

Best Vacation

Perfect beach house. The owners did not go cheap on items in this house. Above average mattresses, towels, appliances, furniture, grill, beach chairs, etc, etc, etc!!! Full bottles of name brand shampoo and conditioner in every shower with full size bar soap. Fresh flowers on dining table upon entry. The gas was low on the grill and by the next day a new full tank of propane was sitting by the grill! We didn't even have to ask for more! They just did it! No taking the trash to the road, they have people that do that too. Beach was great. Awesome state park just 2 miles away. The bay there is amazing for younger kids. Pool is great. This place is the real deal. You can tell the owners want to take care of their renters. THANK YOU!

They go above and beyond and are very responsive. We love the location and hard to beat views from all three levels. The house is spotless. There are so many amenities and conveniences here it’s hard to list them all. We had rain all week but requested the pool be heated and it was fabulous. We also had an issue with the elevator, but it was repaired in a timely manner. Don't think twice about renting this beautiful home, I would refer for all.

The elavator sure was a plus. You couldn’t ask for a cleaner house when we arrived and hope we took care of it like it was our own. (The only thing I would add is a electric broom or duster so I could use during our stay)The pool was beautiful and beautiful lit up all night.. On the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Cape San Blas for about 10 years and our family loves it there. However, this is the first time we have stayed right on the beach. Some of our bunch likes the bay side. This was a perfect house- that fit our large family and allowed us to see sunsets from the home. It was a short walk to the beach. Since we like to cook our own meals the kitchen is always important the home had all we needed. We like the separate coffee and wine area. We liked that the dining rooms could be pulled apart for late-night spades and dominos games. Brian was quick to respond to our needs and confusion over the elevator. The pool was a big hit late in the evening after a day on the beach. Before we came down we called about what beach gear the house may have and we were told that it was a new house so we needed to bring ours. That was not the case. The house had more than enough chairs, a wagon, and other things to use on the beach so we packed a lot of stuff we did not need. You may need to confirm with the company before you pack. Overall, a wonderful home and a good experience at a place we have loved for a number of years.
