We loved this property! The house itself was VERY clean and comfortable. We loved having a six-seat golf cart for our large family, most listings had a four-seat. And there was tons of beach gear which was so nice. We also loved the privacy and view of the water behind the house. The neighborhood is great! We loved having the little Windmark shops and cafes close by. The pool was really nice, we went back and forth from the beach to the pool regularly. Maybe it was the time of year (early May) but the beaches had very few people, we felt like we had it to ourselves! Far cry from the over-crowded beaches of 30A. Port St Joe is adorable and not touristy at all. The stores and restaurants are filled with locals, making it feel like home away from home.Check-in and ease of communication with the owner was easier/better than almost anywhere we’ve stayed!Cons: Very few! There was only a keurig, which for my large family would never work, so we brought our own coffee pot. Also there were no blinds on my daughter’s bedroom which faces the neighbor. Lastly, we felt like it needed more furniture. There was no dining table, only a picnic table on the back porch which gets the hot evening sun. There was only one nightstand in the master bedroom, no side tables or coffee table in the living room, and no hooks in the halls or bathrooms for purses, hats, swimsuits, etc. None of which was a huge deal.All in all, we really loved this place, recommend it, and hope to be back!
