Motel itself was great … However other guests in nearby rooms sitting outside talking and smoking at night were very annoying . We had driven from Sunshine Coast that day and had another 8hr drive ahead of us …. Perhaps there could be a smoking area located away from the rooms as the smoke came into our room !

Lovely stay.

Other than beds rolling away on us (we did try to active the wheel brakes but suspect they were broken) this stay was quite nice. Just what a traveller heading up or down the coast might need. Lovely service — great food recommendations.

Nice comfortable place to stay. Room was clean, spacious enough, bed reasonably comfortable, decent bathroom and good facilities (eg microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer…). Manager was lovely and happy to help with anything 🙂

This was such a pleasant surprise. Good bed, and pillows, and bright bedside lamps. Soundproof. Nicely set out. Spotless. Plates etc set out in cupboard so well and a good long bench to organise our food. Very easy parking in front of room. Close to shops. Very good value for money

Nice town, great motel.

Stopped on our way through. Would definitely stop here again. The furnishings and presentation were all fantastic. Service was friendly and offered helpful tips about the local area. The location was great for heading out to eat. Laurieton is not huge but the motel is right in the heart of town. Plenty of places to eat nearby and there’s a supermarket if you just fancy something simple in the room.

Nice Motel but Service Lacking

A nice quiet motel. Our Queen Room was comfortable and well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, crockery, tea and coffee supplies together with iron, ironing board, hair dryer and large screen TV. Unfortunately after checking out and upon reaching out destination we discovered that we had left phone chargers and cables in our room. Despite ringing and leaving voicemail together with messaging the motel we did not receive any call back or message informing us if the items had been found.

Overall it was a good stay. Very friendly desk service and a comfortable bed for the night. Had an issue with the parking as I was boxed in by two other cars - I think they need to seriously consider remarking the carpark as I can see this being a regular problem.
