Clean and simple home with an absolutely stunning view. Saw sea lions and an owl and breathtaking views all the time. Close to restaurants and Port Townsend. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Getaway
My family and I just wanted to do a quick stay somewhere near Port Townsend and this house was perfect. Everything was clean and very quick and easy to get in. If your in a group that's a little too big for a hotel room this is the place for you. Stairs to beach access are steep but we never had a problem. The Ajax Cafe nearby is a must visit!
We absolutely loved staying here. Perfect location to go and do other things like whale watching, state parks, and Olympic National Park. We saw an eagle within 15 minutes of getting there. Always something to watch while sitting on the deck. Only suggestion would be if more than 2 people need additional towels and wash cloths. I wish I could have stayed forever.

Unbelievable Views
As first-time visitors to the Port Hadlock / Port Townsend area we had no idea what to expect from our stay.... we were NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The rental property is more than comfortable and navigating the area was simple. Plenty more to see and do in the area than we were able to accomplish on a short stay, but we will be back!

Very sad
We left within an hour of checking in due to a mice problem. On arrival there was a mouse trap on the kitchen counter, we inquired about it asking if there was a problem and we were assured that everything had been handled. That was entirely false. There were mouse droppings EVERYWHERE. We then spent over an hour trying to find someplace to stay. This cost us more money and we lost quality time that should have been spent relaxing. Our child was heartbroken as we had plans to walk the beach at low tide.
We hope this problem is truly addressed and corrected. This place is a great place as we stayed a few years ago.
Nice place to relax. Beautiful view of the bay. Very spacious. Master bedroom is roomy with a pretty view of the bay. Master bathroom is also roomy with great shower space. Second bedroom good size and bathroom nice also. Comfy bed's. Kitchen had everything that was needed. Bedrooms and bathrooms have good heating. Now the downside…..the propane Fireplace in the front room did not work because the propane tank was empty and the Fireplace needed some repair. We were not happy about the situation. It is listed as an amenity. This is something that should be checked on a regular basis and be ready to use. The handyman provided us with a small electric heater which helped keep the chill off. Even though this was an inconvenience, we will go back another time, but will make sure, through the host, that the fireplace is working.
Beautiful sun rises and fantastic sunsets over the water ... right from the walkout porch. We walked around the neighborhood and met one of the neighbors -- very pleasant and had great things to say about the neighborhood. The house was very comfortable and had what we needed. It was a great place to relax and watch the eagles soar overhead.
The property description and pictures are misleading. The place where you stay is in the basement of a house. There is a patio with view but the deck shown in in the pictures is above where you are staying. There are 5-7 concrete stairs you have to go down from the driveway to the room and the stairs to the beach are long, steep, and not safe for children. Also, the gas fireplace does not work correctly and sounds like a train when it finally turns on. There was a lot of dust in the rooms generally and construction dust in the bathrooms. There is no dishwasher. The windows were extremely dirty. The advertised air mattress was not in the unit (though someone brought it later). For the price I would not stay here again.
