Come slow down at this cozy farmhouse retreat, surrounded by farmland and sweeping 180° Olympic Mountain views. Soak under the stars or unwind in the cedar sauna after a day of hiking, exploring Olympic National Park, skiing at Hurricane Ridge, beachcombing, or enjoying the nearby lakes and waterways. With three comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, 75” TV, fire pit and orchard views, it’s an inviting year-round escape between Port Angeles and Sequim.

The villa is completely private, and we won’t intrude on your time here. We live nearby and are available by phone, text or email whenever you need us.

Homestead Villa sits between Port Angeles and Sequim in the Agnew area of the Olympic Peninsula.

We’re less than ½ mile from Olympic Bluffs Cidery, a lavender farm and Agnew Grocery, with easy access to both Port Angeles and Sequim.

Olympic National Park is right at your doorstep, with many of the Peninsula’s best-known destinations within roughly 30–60 minutes, including Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Storm King and Salt Creek.

Winter guests can use the villa as a comfortable base for trips to Hurricane Ridge for seasonal skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, then return to a warm farmhouse, hot tub and cedar sauna.

For warmer months, the Olympic Discovery Trail is nearby, and beaches, tide pools, kayaking, boating and other water activities are all within an easy drive.

You get the best of both worlds here: a quiet rural setting surrounded by farmland and mountain views, while groceries, restaurants and the amenities of Port Angeles and Sequim are close by.

Guests have private use of the villa, hot tub, sauna and approximately ½ acre surrounding the home.

The remainder of the farm is private and includes working agricultural areas and animal areas. Please do not enter fenced areas or areas marked private.

Two areas inside the home are locked for owner storage: the closet in the downstairs primary bedroom and the cabinets below the upstairs TV.

The Property

Homestead Villa is a rustic farmhouse set among more than 100 acres of farmland, with unobstructed 180° views of the Olympic Mountains and occasional peekaboo views across the Salish Sea toward Canada.

The home is completely private to your group. You’ll have the villa, its outdoor spaces, hot tub, sauna and surrounding ½-acre guest area to yourselves.

Home faces mountains and orchard, giving you plenty of places to enjoy your morning coffee, watch the sunset or simply take in the changing weather over the Olympics.

The backyard is home to heritage apple, plum and pear trees. In spring, the orchard is full of blossoms; in late summer and fall, you’ll see the fruit ripen throughout the property.

The kitchen is equipped with a stainless-steel electric range and convection oven, refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser, cookware, dishes, spices, oils, teas and the essentials for preparing meals at home.

The dining table seats up to 6.

Primary bedroom: California King, farm and mountain views, blackout shades.

Second bedroom: Queen bed, armoire and blackout shades.

Upper bedroom: California King, large picture windows overlooking the mountains and orchard, blackout shades, plus a small desk and chair.

Upstairs Family Room

This is a great place to spread out after a day exploring. It includes a 75” TV, Apple TV, wet bar, wine refrigerator, leather sectional, two recliners, foosball table, office space and a sleeping nook.

Large windows make you feel like you’re sitting among the trees overlooking the orchard and farmland.

Outdoor Space

Enjoy the private hot tub, cedar barrel sauna, fire pit, BBQ and three porches overlooking the mountains.

The HotSpring Prodigy hot tub seats up to 5. The cedar barrel sauna has a 9kW Harvia heater and comfortably accommodates approximately 4–6 people.

A Little About the Farm

Earthward Farm is a working rural property, so you’ll experience the sights and sounds of the countryside. Eagles and owls are often seen around the property, and you may hear coyotes at night or an occasional distant rooster.

The animals and working areas of the farm are not part of the guest-accessible area, but you may see farm life from the villa.

Conveniently located to many of the area’s lavender farms, at the gateway to the Olympic National Park, birdwatching, and minutes away from the enviable Olympic Discovery Trail.

Before Your Stay

Prior to arrival, guests are asked to complete a short pre-arrival form and agree to our rental conditions.

Before Checkout

Please rinse and load any used dishes into the dishwasher and place used towels in the laundry baskets. Let us know when you’ve departed.

Hot Tub & Sauna

The HotSpring Prodigy hot tub seats up to 5 guests and is available year-round. The cedar barrel sauna has a 9kW Harvia heater and accommodates approximately 4–6 people.

Because the hot tub requires regular water-quality maintenance, stays of more than two nights may include a brief maintenance visit between 1:00 and 1:30 PM. We’ll always do our best to be unobtrusive.
