Cheerful and helpful staff, with good recommendations for restaurants. It's not a fancy place, and it doesn't have a view, but it was very well suited for people like us, who are out and active during the day and like walking places that are within a reasonable distance.

Bathroom was filthy . Tub wouldn’t drain , one of us had to shower in the evening so other one can shower in the morning . Floors were filthy , and there was sticker from someone’s pants on the floor not cleaned in months . They have 5 different WiFi and none of them Worked in our room On the 3rd floor .

The room was clean and decent. The window could not be closed as they had fan unit in the bottom half. The room was cold. You can jack up the heat, but, you can still feel the draft from the window. It was also very noisy throughout the night with all the traffic that you could hear from the road next to it - and let me tell you, it is a busy road.

Only problem we had was that the hot water stopped working suddenly in the middle of a shower. Came back after a few minutes.

It’s a Great Motel. Period.

The Flagstone is not in the greatest part of town but it really is a great motel. Don’t be turned off by the area. The owners and staff clearly try hard to make the place safe, secure, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, spacious and updated. The hotel backs onto a row of houses that obviously take pride in their neighborhood. Cheap and cheerful. We’d happily stay there again.
