The primary issues fell into host experience, and additional concerns related to privacy and compliance. I consider that Mr. Ramos and his wife created a very stressful environment through excessive surveillance and unreasonable restrictions. The list did not reveal surveillance cameras, with no published signals, violating privacy expectations. Hosts monitor activities 24 hours a day, every day of the stay, through cameras, listening to conversations and sending text messages frequent calls about minor problems. Additional the camera located in the pool area that overlooked the private areas of the shower and exposing intimate spaces. The extreme ban on visitors, even for food deliveries or transportation to the airport, preventing family reunions during my husband's 5-day military leave.On the last day, after my sister's authorized visit, the reservation was abruptly canceled, evicting us on New Year's Eve despite full payment of the vacation. An accidental activation of the microphone captured the derogatory comments of Mr. Ramos on me, recorded as evidence; later threatened to take legal action, intensifying intimidation. All these actions caused severe stress to the blood pressure of my 83-year-old uncle plus the anxiety experience of all the occupants due to the harassment and constant interruptions. This host behavior violated trust, privacy laws and contract terms, which justifies Vrbo's investigation.
