Surrounded by lush vegetation and with far reaching views from the first floor terrace and windows and set at the end of a narrow grassy lane, Can Gato lends itself perfectly to an extended family or group of friends looking to enjoy some quality time in the sunshine.
With its traditional rustic façade, surrounded by a mature garden of colourful shrubs, plants and trees, this beautifully rural setting conjures up a classic holiday feeling that’s irresistibly relaxing. Overlooking the pool, the shady covered terrace and substantial barbecue compose an idyllic dining spot, great for lazy family evenings under the stars.
Entering through a wooden door, a spacious open-plan design with natural décor forms a bright and airy milieu, as tasteful furnishings create a stylish but unfussy blend of contemporary and traditional. On the ground floor a twin bedroom reveals a modern en suite bathroom with bathtub as well as a walk-in shower, the spacious dining area which naturally becomes the hub of the home leads to the kitchen and living room where doors open out onto the terrace shedding natural light into this cosy corner forming a pleasant spot in which to sit back and unwind. Three more comfortable bedrooms are found on the upper floor, including a large double bedroom with en suite shower and a fabulous balcony ideally positioned to relish views of the Tramuntana mountains.
A 10 minute drive brings you to Pollenca Town with its genuine local ambience and comprehensive amenities which include numerous popular dining options. Wandering through narrow cobbled streets, browsing the local craft stalls, bartering in the Sunday morning market or savouring a coffee and pastry in the main plaza whilst 'people watching' are all entertaining pastimes in this iconic location!
The small picturesque, sandy bay of Cala Barques is also close by, for swimming, snorkelling and maybe savouring a fresh fish platter in one of the cove's restaurants; or head to Port of Pollenca where chic boutiques, a wealth of bars and restaurants, a bustling market, yachting marina and gorgeous sweeping sandy beach all vie for your attention.
