Shop very close. 30 mins walk to Valletta, taxi cheap.The flat was spacious enough for 4 people, but overall it was a disappointing stay and we couldn’t recommend it. It’s not suitable for more than 4 guests as there’s nowhere comfortable to sit in the evenings, unless around the kitchen table on fairly hard chairs. The small sofa was extremely worn, with springs almost coming through, and needed large pillows to make it usable. There certainly isn’t enough seating for 6–8 people.The large TV was let down by a remote that often failed to connect. The kitchen bizarrely had no kettle, forcing us to boil water in a saucepan, and it was poorly stocked with limited cutlery, crockery, mugs, glasses and utensils. Even a broom was missing.Only one bathroom light worked, making it feel dingy. The bath plug didn’t seal, so baths were impossible, and the sink plug also failed, wasting water when shaving.In the balcony bedroom, the bedside lamp was broken, there was no bedside furniture, and the air-conditioning unit made a very loud wave-like whooshing noise and clearly needs servicing.There was also no printed welcome or information pack.Overall, it was a frustrating stay because none of these issues would cost much or take long to fix.
