This was our 2nd time staying at Vinpearl Wonderworld. This time we paid extra for the ocean view but our view was blocked by plants so there was not much different with the other villas. The private pool was not very clean so preferred to use the beach or the big pool. Room service food was okay for a 4.5 stars hotel, the buffet meals were great 4.5 stars. The staffs and customer services were 6 stars as always. My only feedback to the hotel management team that please give a non-smoking Van to pick up. Both times we were picked up by the small vans ( from contracted partner) but both smelled so bad with cigarette. Also, please clean up the pool for next guests. Overall 4 stars

Loved the resort. Service and staff was amazing. Anything we needed was accomodated right away. Entertainment within the resort would have been great however not a big deal as there are entertainment daily outside just a few minutes drive away. This was a luxury experience. Kids loced it as well

During our recent stay, we found a few positives at the property, but several issues unfortunately impacted the quality of our experience: 1. Good Location: The villa is in a great location, especially for families, with several children’s attractions nearby. This was one of the highlights of our stay. 2. Spacious Villa, Poor Maintenance: The villa itself was spacious and well laid out, but the lack of proper cleaning and general maintenance made it look and feel neglected. 3. Housekeeping and Cleanliness: Cleanliness was a major concern. Towels were worn out and looked overused, bed sheets didn’t appear fresh, and we even found sand on the bedding and water bottles during a linen change — a clear sign of poor housekeeping. 4. Private Pool and Pool Area: The villa’s private pool and its surrounding area were not cleaned at all during our stay. There were many dead insects floating in the pool, which made it unappealing and unhygienic. The poor maintenance of this area was disappointing. 5. Restaurant and Breakfast: While there was no long wait, the restaurant was very crowded during breakfast, making it difficult to enjoy the meal in a relaxed setting. The food variety was also quite limited, with no specific options for children or those with dietary preferences. 6. Lobby and Common Areas: The lobby is too small to comfortably accommodate the number of guests, often feeling cramped and noisy. 7. Children’s Play Area: The kids' area was small and lacked engaging

A good property- would be a great property with some small tweaks! There were some areas of our villa which were in need of TLC, our decking area had some damage to it, kitchen area had no utensils or crockery and limited glasses/cups. Housekeeping service was good, beds made up, floors swept, strangely the housekeeping team would take our hung up towels away but then not replace them. We ended up with no hand towels or wash cloths several times. Room service- we didn’t have a good experience with this and ended up getting our food bill refunded as it took 2 hours to arrive COLD. Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent- lots of choice and good quality. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed our time :) just a few little tweaks could make a big difference.

Loved our stay at VinPearl

The Villas we stayed in were amazing. A cleaning crew comes in every day to tidy up and refill your daily water and towels. My kids LOVED the private pool for our villa and the beach. The only things we were not prepared for was that although there is a kitchen, it is not stocked at all with anything for cooking or even eating. No utensils or cooking tools. Also, be prepared to call for a buggy every time you want to leave your villa.

Welcome reception service = great Villa= great, but would make it better if there was more functional equipment in the kitchen Breakfast buffet = great. Nice rooms and facilities but service fell short. Feels very mass produced and not a personal service. Some nights at dinner it took a LONG time just to have a drinks order. One day cleaners took our towels without replacing them and it took 1.5 hours and 4 calls to reception to have them replaced. Golf carts to get everywhere feels like hard work.

The property is very large and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options with international and Vietnam specific food options. In room service was good, but takes a long time for delivery. No microwave in the rooms, VERY minimal kitchenware. If you need kitchenware, you can rent for a fee… Tuk tuk small shuttle service around the property can be a long wait at times. The villas are spacious, but rooms are basic. No hot or even warm water for showers as they report some villas use solar energy and during the rainy season, those villas don’t have hot water. That should be listed information for guests to know before booking. Property is close to the theme park, which has an amazing aquarium. The rest of the park was too spaced out with less than thrilling rides. The decorations at the park was beautiful, however. Our booking included free safari entrance, but we did not stay long enough to check it out. Staff did help arrange large van to transport our whole family of 9 from their hotel to one down south for a much better deal than taking taxi. This also included stops along the way for shopping and sight seeing included in the cost. Property is far from authentic Phu Quoc night life and night market. Overall, decent stay, but not the best for price point.

Vinpearl Wonder World – Pretty Pools, but Lacking

I recently stayed at Vinpearl Wonder World and found the overall experience to be quite average. While the pool and water activities were genuinely enjoyable, everything else felt lacking. One of the biggest letdowns was the food situation. Despite a large number of Indian tourists visiting, there were no proper vegetarian or even good non-veg options available. It’s surprising that a resort of this scale hasn’t made an effort to cater to such a significant part of its customer base. There are also no decent food outlets nearby, so you’re basically stuck with limited and unsatisfying dining choices. Another major issue was communication—most of the staff struggled with English, making even basic requests difficult to manage. The resort itself, though large, lacked energy. It almost felt like a ghost town at times, with very little liveliness or atmosphere. For the price and promise, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Frankly, I’d rather visit Thailand, where the hospitality is warm, the service is polished, and food options are much more inclusive and flavorful. Vinpearl has great infrastructure but needs serious improvement in food, service, and guest experience.

The resort is a bit isolated. There really isn’t anything around. The resort grounds were meticulously groomed. Villa we stayed at was old, however very spacious and comfortable. Having a private pool was great as it rained off and on throughout our entire stay. Staff members were very helpful and accommodating. I can see why other reviewers mentioned communication issues ,however, for us it wasn’t a problem even though we do not speak the language. Breakfast was good in the am; there is a good enough variety for everyone. Although I personally would have loved other tropical fruits not easily found where I am at. On site, there are a few places to grab alcoholic beverages but the drinks they can make are extremely limited. Room service would not deliver alcoholic beverages with our meal. access to the beach is private, so it wasn’t crowded. I can agree that Phu Quoc overall was more expensive than other parts of Vietnam as is the resort but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting. The massages are considerably more expensive than other resorts we have stayed at in other parts of Vietnam but was good. I wouldn’t recommend their pedicures services though. You can get around the resort via a call to the service desk and a tuk tuk will come get you. The resort did offer transportation via a bus to and from airport if you stay longer than 2 nights. And a dedicated shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes that can take you to some of the local attractions like grand world, safari etc

We have been in the resort for the last 4 days. The swimming pool is not safe for swimming. We believe the filter is not working, and we have been observing everyday when someone comes to clean the pool by just fishing out the leaves and the debris. This morning we decided to talk to the cleaning person about the condition of the water before he's leaving. Surprisingly he responds that the water is dirty because the filter is not working. So he calls someone with equipment trying to revive the condition of the water and it takes hours. We still have three more nights here at the resort, but we are reluctant to use the pool. A swimming pool without a working filter pump will accumulate dirt, bacteria, and algae, turning it into a breeding ground for disease. Regular filtration is crucial for maintaining a healthy and safe swimming environment. Another problem at the villa when we first checked in, we realized that the guest bathroom toilet is not flushing. 3 different people came to try to fix it and it worked for a few flushes. We are not requiring it to be fixed during the remainder of our stays, since we don't need to use that washroom; just a head up so when we check out you might need to prepare a good stay for the next guest.

Overall a positive stay. The air con in the bedroom upstairs however wasn't working even after we notified them.
