Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was a little tired. A big car park for about 14 cars was a big plus. The road system is a little complicated and busy, so advanced planning how to access the car park is recommended. The full English Breakfast was provided bang on time and was adequate. I would suggest that they introduce cornflakes, marmalade and any fresh fruit or yoghurts. We also had to ask for second cups of coffee/tea.

Everyone we encountered, staff or guest, was friendly. The atmosphere was calm, the village is beautiful - and an interesting mix of old and new. Breakfast was also super.

Stayed one night as we were going to a party nearby. Landlord was cheerful and helpful. Room was rather tired - although we had a lovely big shower and lots of hot water/pressure, which was excellent. Good breakfast the next morning.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room but somewhat dated and smelling stale. Large bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Full english breakfast included. Felt slightly overpriced compared to other places we have stayed but was fine for a one night stay visiting friends nearby.
