The room was spotless. The Inn has a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. Belinda went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There were the small things that go along with a historic building, like uneven floors, but if you are looking for a quaint place to stay in Petosky, this is it.

This has been our favorite place to stay during skiing season! Lovely old Inn is very welcoming with great people and vintage decor. The breakfast selections are limited. It would definitely benefit from more choices, as it used to be in the past. We would be willing to pay extra to have a service (chef) to offer popular fried/baked dishes.

Beautiful inside main lobby and dining room, draw back is no elevator and out room was on the third floor. We limited items to absolutely essential to carry up three flights of stairs. Probably will not book again.

The main downside was that the staff couldn't get the TV working properly in our room. A very diligent effort was made to correct the problem but to no avail. The owner let us use another room to watch TV in to watch a baseball game. However, because of a rain delay of the game, it was switched to another network. After several attempts to get it to the right channel, I gave up and returned to my room. Other than that we had a very nice stay.

This place made you slow down and feel as if you went back in time. Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The neighborhood is so beautiful with Victorian homes all around. The downtown was very close.
