We had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the room; after the cleaners ‘cleaned’ it. The handles on the fridge/microwave were filthy. The entire top edge of the sheets and comforters on both beds were filthy where they had been handled so much; they had makeup on them, and the comforter had a blood stain on it. These are white linens, so it was not like it would have been difficult to see. The furniture was absolutely trashed, worn out, no color left on any of the edges of it. The tub wouldn’t drain properly. We went to the store and purchased cleaning supplies and Lysol, and blankets to cover the filthy beds with. On the plus side, there were no bed bugs, and the ice machine worked great.

The property was OK, but the fact that there was no elevators for the handicap was not acceptable. The room was fair. The furniture was worn out, but somebody had a party in the room. There was no phone no clock. There is a wall that blocked the air conditioner from getting to the other side of the room poor building construction as far as that goes. I have reserved a downstairs room and was told twice when I came back to check there was no downstairs available and they put me upstairs. Men and handicap was unacceptable. billpowers59@yahoo.com

When we first arrived the room smelled really bad. We think it was because the ac had only recently been turned on. After leaving for a bit with the ac all the way down the room didn’t smell as bad. The room also looked like it had taken in water (probably from a hurricane). The bedside table was warped and the dresser was as well and the lampshades had mold on them. Lastly, the lock on the adjoining room seemed broken.

We had four people checked into the room. They gave us three towels. We went to get more and they said there’s no available towels. They did not clean our room because they said they did not have housekeeping available. The room was disgusting and humid and no hot water the hot water had to run for 15 minutes before it got warm Worst experience ever.

The hotel doesn't even provide normal-sized pillows for guests. The bed pillows are small, square pillows almost as if they were decorative pillows with the covers removed. I was glad my girlfriend and I brought our own pillows on our trip, because we would have had a very bad time. The bed itself was not super comfortable either; it felt like it was a very old mattress and provided very little support. The bathtub has a weird slope to it so that you cannot stand up straight when taking a shower. The tub also did not drain water effectively. Some of the towels and wash cloths provided were not cleaned properly prior to being provided to us; they are also extremely low quality and are scratchy more than anything else. Additionally, the room had a bad smell, almost as if it used to be a room that allowed smoking and then a poor job was done at covering up the smell. The only positive thing I can say is the woman at the counter in the lobby was very nice and friendly. However, that wasn't enough to offset the negatives of the room. I would not stay here again.
