This property, hosts and location are all exceptional! Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Upon arrival, we walked through the property and all of its amenities with Thalie. She was warm, welcoming and a delightful host throughout our entire stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were able to cook many meals there. The wifi connection was great, though we spent so much time enjoying the property and traveling to different cities close by, so we rarely used it. You do need to rent a car, which we did from Lisbon.The master bedroom is very comfortable and spacious, and the shower was great - always warm water, and great water pressure. There are AC units in the master bedroom and downstairs, which was great on really hot days.My favorite part of this charming Quinta is the quaint back porch/deck/patio. Our family spent hours there reading, playing games and enjoying beautiful sunsets over the rolling hills.I can't recommend this special place more highly!

Thalie and Etienne have created a beautiful retreat at Quinta das Amoras. The scenery is magical and they have used excellent taste in creating a comfortable and attractive home away from home. Our every need was met and this became the highlight of our extended stay in Portugal. We highly recommend this experience.

Great stay near Penela

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Quinta das Amoras! Thalie was extremely friendly, helpful, and the communication was great before and during our stay. The property is incredible and located in a beautiful area. We would absolutely stay at this amazing house again!

A Perfect place

We stayed at Quinta das Amoras for a week of our month long visit to Portugal. We chose it based on the positive reviews and its more rual location. From here it was easy to visit the University in Coimbra, 2 Castles, Nazare, and some Roman ruins. Even with a busy schedule it felt like coming home at the end of the day and taking a down day and doing nothing more than reading was easy.

Amazing property

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was exactly as described and actually exceeded our expectations! An absolutely gorgeous property. Nearly everything you would require for an extended stay was provided and the property owner was very helpful providing information about things to do in the area. Communication was easy and fast when needed. You do need a car to get around, but it is only 20 minutes from a major city (Coimbra) and almost exactly halfway from both Lisbon and Porto, making for easy day trips to either city. There is also a grocery store/shopping center less than 10 minutes drive away. The area is surrounded by stunning nature and many historical sights as well. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to experience Portugal away from the busy touristy cities and enjoy the peace and beauty of the country!

Rien n’a été laissé au hasard, du mobilier soigneusement choisi à l’aménagement réfléchi de chaque pièce.L’hôte est d’une gentillesse rare, attentionnée et toujours disponible, avec une énergie positive qui se ressent partout dans la maison. On se sent immédiatement bien, comme chez soi !L’accès au terrain est superbe, offrant des espaces pour se détendre, se reconnecter avec la nature ou encore profiter du coin Yoga/Gym parfaitement aménagé, un vrai plus.Un merci tout particulier à notre hôte pour sa grande hospitalité, sa présence bienveillante et son accueil chaleureux — cela a vraiment fait toute la différence.Franchement, nous serions restés des mois entiers si nous avions pu.
