Lovely clean villa as advertised. We had a great, relaxing week staying here. Host was very responsive. Only issue we had was on arrival, and directions to the villa were not great. Villa is a 30 minute walk from the main street, there are restaurants closer though. The main supermarket was a drive away, the use of the car meant this was easy. No instructions on recycling, so we spent time driving to find recycling bins. We checked out at 10 on the last day, and used the luggage lockers at Neptune's (you can use their facilities, pool, shower etc. It's worth going in and booking a locker though, as there was only one left when we got there.

Louise is an incredible host!!! So responsive from the moment I booked (and I had a lot of questions !)Use of the car with children seat is brilliant.Very spacious and well laid out villa.Sun terrace perfect for sunbathing and a generous pool.Great location for exploring and away from the commercialisation of Coral Bay strip. However, still within walking distance for a variety of tastes in terms of food and drink.Brilliant stay.

The villa is beautiful, very spacious and great for families.Property manager Louise was always on hand to help before and during our stay.The area itself is also lovely with everything you need only a few minutes drive away.We have made amazing memories in this beautiful villa, would definitely recommend a stay.

Louise was the perfect host, answering our messages quickly - helping us plan our stay, arranging transfers from/to the airport, recommending local places to eat and visit and even letting us use her car during our stay. She also met us in person at the villa when we arrived and had prepared a welcome pack for us.

We have just returned from a wonderful winter escape at Chilbury Mortimer.Louise is a great host; it's hard to imagine a better one!Communication both prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent. Any small issues or questions were were quickly responded to.The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The internet connection was fast and reliable, the large TV had an amazing amount of accessible content; we never missed anything from UK channels and the selection of films available was vast.Perhaps it's fair to say that some furnishings and fixtures are a little 'tired', but you can't expect a 'new-build show-house' for a holiday rental. That said, everything was functional, comfortable and clean. The kitchen amenities were excellent for self-catering; even an Air Fryer.Louise also included the use of her car in the rental. Again, it's clearly not straight out of the showroom, but perfectly adequate for getting out and about to explore the island.We both had a lovely time, would very happily stay again and recommend to friends.Thank you Louise!

We had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect for our stay at the Villa.we didn’t need for anything it is so well equipped. Louise our host was brilliant in communication with us and so friendly, explained everything we needed to know and even organised a taxi from the airport. Use of car was great too.We are already thinking of returning in the near future. Thank you so much Louie for making our trip so enjoyable.

Great villa in a perfect location, short walk to a lovely beach and an easy 30 minute walk in to Coral Bay. Louise was really helpful during our stay and left us a handy welcome pack of essentials on arrival. Very spacious, particularly the outdoor area. The villa is a little bit tired in some areas and could do with a little tlc but this is to be expected in rental properties and certainly didn’t detract from a wonderful stay.

lovely villa and great location, nice welcome pack on arrival, louise arrange transfers from airport and back for us all, villa was equip with everything you need for your stay and towels for the beach, 5 min walk to the beach with a lovely restaurant, great food and staff, use of the car to get your shopping in for the villa, would highly recommend

Great villa in a great location for accessing lots of the Paphos area. Pool and garden was perfect for chilling during the day and evenings, and the ping pong table was an added bonus. Area around the villa was also quiet with walkable bars and restaurants.Owner was really nice and welcoming in communications and telling us about the area before we arrived.Would happily stay here again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent. House and pool were brilliant and everything was clean and well maintained. Use of car was so handy for trips to shops and beaches. Great location, quiet but within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and bus stop to Pafos. We had a fantastic stay here, thank you very much. We can highly recommend :)

One week stay

Host was super attentive and very generous. Villa was big and spacious for everyone. Everything was there that we needed. We had a problem with the key code as it had changed and no one told us but Louise sorted it out very quickly. Dogs barking in the neighbourhood kept us awake throughout the week. So I would suggest bringing ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. The pool cleaners were there a couple of times a week ( must have been there 5 mins tops) but by the end of the week the pool felt that it needed a really good clean.

Summer break in Cyprus

The property is in a convenient location for Coral bay and many nice restaurant's and bars. The property has a large swimming pool, which is cleaned twice a week. When we arrived there were a lot of childrens inflatable toys in the swimming pool, which weren't much use to us. There is a nice bbq with everything you need to get started. The air conditioning in the property is located in two rooms on the ground floor and two rooms on the first floor. The A/C units are on timers, which give you about 2 hours running time, so can be annoying to wake up and have to switch it back on. The provided car is a little old and the near-side front passanger window doesn't open. It is fine to take a trip to the supermarket, or local restaurants, but I wouldn't like to travel further afield to say, Nicosia.

Magical place

Louise could not have made us more welcome or been more helpful. We arrived late from the airport and she had so thoughtfully left us some food and drinks. Any questions i had, she responded very quickly and her recommendations of places to visit were spot on. The car made it possible for us to explore beautiful places across the island. The villa and pool provided us with a piece of paradise. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - thsnk you Louise!

The house and property is amazing and described accurately. The location is also ideal. The host was terrific from the moment we made the reservation. She provided details, tips on things to see and do, answered all of our questions, and went well above and beyond. A true gem!!

An honest review

Beautiful villa, great location, amazing welcome pack, very much appreciated however respectfully I would like to say a few improvements could be made that would make all the difference.The sofa and soft furnishings are very dated compared to the photographs on the website.The blind in the living area has a large stain on which isn’t really what you want to see on the approach to the entrance door. Once inside the sofa is really dirty and has been repaired with a patch which looks awful. Really could do with being renewed.Some of kitchen appliances could do with being replaced the microwave was a yellow/white and rusty inside also the oven leaves much to be desired. Chopping boards need replaced.The bedding was thread bare as were the towels it wouldn’t take much to bring this villa up to the expected standard as seen in the photographs on the website.Other than that we had a lovely time and with these improvements would rate the villa 10/10

Relaxing holiday with great comms!

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this stunning villa! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Communication with Louise was top-notch — always quick to respond, clear, and incredibly helpful. The villa itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and private. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and truly didn’t want to leave. A wonderful winter stay

We had a five week winter stay at Chilbury and we loved every minute of it.The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need and want. The location is perfect for walks or venturing out by car or hopping on the local bus service available.Local amenities including bars and restaurants are nearby.Even if you wanted to spend days at the villa there is ample seating/sunbeds/bbq/pool area to enjoying the sunshine. Come the evening is the bonus of sitting on the upstairs terrace enjoying the wonderful Cyprus sunsets with a glass of vino. And not forgetting Louise who is the perfect host to make sure your stay is everything you could possibly want.
