Communication with David, the owner, before we traveled was great. He provided us with maps and even video's on finding the apartment which made the journey easy. Local information was also provided too. A great selection of beach equipment was available to use on the nearby beach which was fantastic.The apartment was excellent, very clean and short of nothing and the location was perfect. Woke up every morning to see the sunrise from our balcony and a beautiful sea view. Would definitely return.

The apartment was just lovely!! It was beautifully decorated and so clean! It had a wonderful stocked kitchen and plenty of room for a family of four. The scenery of the Palafrugell area of the Costa Brava was stunning. The apartment is in a perfect location within walking distance to the El Golfet Beach and the Rondo walking path which runs along the cliffs overlooking the incredible coves and aquamarine water. The owners were so nice and went out of their way to welcome us upon arrival and answer any questions we had about the area. They even had bikes, fishing and snorkel gear for us if we needed to use it. We definitely want to return!

SUN SEA AND SERENITY
Before our journey began Communication with David the owner of the apartment was excellent , which is a real plus when travelling such a long way..
We arrived to find a spotlessly clean apartment with refresments waiting in the fridge after our flight and forty minute transfer from Birmingham England .When opening the blind in the morning we were greeted by the glorious view of the sun shining on the Med WOW .
The apartment is situated near the coastal walk with steps leading down to probably the nicest beach we have ever been on .
We were a ten minute walk from the main drag , with a local restaurant on the corner of the street , two minutes away .We ate there twice highly recommended .Turning left out the front of the apartment we walked across open fields and woodland to the traditional Spanish Village of Ermedas a lovely walk and well worth it .
Angel the on site caretaker kept a low profile but appeared like magic when needed .Lovely man.
The thing that stands out most about our stay was the quietness all we could hear was bird song and without exaggerating we could count the amount of cars that passed us during our stay on two hands .We will defiantly be staying here again .Thank You David

Magnifique appartement!
L'appartement est magnifiquement agencé et décoré avec beaucoup de soins, tout y est pour se sentir bien et serein!
Un accueil sur mesure de David et son épouse qui sont d'une extrême gentillesse et bienveillance ++!! Idéalement situé, vous pouvez vous promener sur le chemin de ronde qui longe la côte et vous offre des paysages et criques magnifiques...
Une région qui nous était inconnue, et qu'il est fort agréable de découvrir...( aidé par les conseils de David et Heidi)
La propreté de l'appartement est irréprochable, et il dispose de toutes les commodités et équipements!.
On ne peut que recommander cette location !!

Well furnished, clean, modern apartment in a great location.
This is a well furnished, clean, modern and tastefully arranged apartment in a great location.
We much appreciated the functional furniture, the modern kitchen, the very good and firm master bed, quality linen in tasteful colors… actually all items in this apartment are of good quality and available in sufficient quantities for several persons.
There is a balcony with a table and sufficient space to have meals outside (the sliding door can be fully retracted and increases the available space actually), and we enjoyed the morning sun at breakfast. You get some sea views, beautiful light especially in the morning. The pictures on the home-away website are « what you see is what you get », which is really good! The bathroom is smallish but well decorated and functional, altogether clean and modern.
Thank you also for the small attentions like some coffees capsules and a fresh bottle of spring water in the fridge - much appreciated after a 4 hours drive.
The apartment is by the way ideally located just a few minutes walk from one of the most scenic coastal hikes of the Costa Brava and a 10 min walk from the Cap Roig botanical garden. Off-season this area is very quiet.
The communication with the owner was great. He sent us all needed info over the mobile and useful tips with google maps like pharmacy, supermarket…. We recommend the restaurant « Can Leon » in LLafranc which we knew from a previous trip. Great seafood served!
We definitely recommend this apartment and would come back any time!

Séjour idéal à Calella de Palafrugell
Très bel appartement neuf, très propre et très fonctionnel. La vue du balcon sur la mer est magnifique. La résidence est très bien entretenue avec beaucoup de verdure et très calme. Il est idéalement placé pour visiter Calella de Palafrugell et ses environs (camina de ronda, jardin botanique). Le propriétaire est très attentionné et prévenant. A recommander sans aucune hésitation !
