Fabulous stay

This is our second stay at the Redcliffe and didn't disappoint. We are coming back again in October. The staff are very friendly, efficient and polite. The hotel has many areas to hide yourself away and read, with stunning views as it is on rise above both beaches. The food is excellent and the high tea to be recommended. Such a great place to stay when you visit Paignton

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel and wanted to say what a brilliant place with very attentive and happy staff. The hotel has bags of character and our room 122 was modern, clean and had a panoramic view of the bay. Breakfast was excellent and large English, evening meal (we eat one evening) was hearty and well prepared. Parking in the large carpark was free. Great place anytime but in off peak this is real value for money. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will go back! Thanks to all the staff.

Lovely position few steps to the beach. Lovely to be able to look out to sea and in the evening see the moon shine on the sea with a glass of wine 🍷. Dining room big with outstanding views Torquay to one side paignton and Brixham the other side. Staff friendly. Clean rooms . Love the pool and steam room. Plenty of parking

Super location and excellent views, Staff are brilliant and the hotel is very different and interesting. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. We have stayed here 3 times now and have enjoyed it every time.

Staff were great looked after us well, extremely friendly . Bedroom was lovely , great view . We just found the bed to hard to sleep on , had a bout 4 hours sleep and just sat in the chairs watching the sun come up .

Hotel is local to many bars & restaurants. Public transport links easy to navigate. The gym & indoor swimming pool are added bonus. The hotel is literally right on the seafront with free parking.

We had a lovely family stay at the Redcliffe Hotel. We stayed here with our family members also from the north. Parking was great, location to the beach and pier was perfect. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were a party of 9 and we were able to sit tighter at breakfast, in the bar and even had a private dining room where we were able to welcome family in who lived locally. The pool was an added bonus for the children, just need to remember your own shampoo and shower gel for the showers. The hotel it’s self was rather warm for February and we did struggle with this but I suppose it’s better than it being cold. We had a sea view family room which had two rooms including a fridge which was convenient. The only issue was with the shower head it just didn’t reach high enough for my tall husband. Oh and no safe in rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Hot room

Trouble with the boiler, according to the reception, caused the heating to be on permanently making it extremely hot in the room to be able to sleep. Couldn’t turn the radiator off!

Nice unpretentious hotel

Pleasant hotel well sited and a bargain off-season. Decent car park but could do with a couple of electric chargers. Room was too small to accommodate the amount of furniture, and was so warm that even though it was never hotter than 5 degrees we had the patio door open all the time. The spa was very nice and empty due to the time of year. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Evening meal was only ok but you can understand that out of season. We would go again - the real acid test.
