Cabin Retreat in the Woods - Hot Tub, Grill, Firepit, Ski at White Pass, Hiking

Welcome to Baby Bear Cabin. Newly constructed, cozy cabin with 50-jet hot tub under the stars. Cabin is situated down a quiet, well maintained dirt road in the forest near Mt. Rainier National Park and White Pass Ski Resort. One-half mile to Packwood's downtown restaurants and shops. Perfect for a small family or romantic getaway.

The cabin has been constructed with wood accents throughout to give it a rustic appeal. There are three separate sleeping areas and a bathroom on all three floors. There is a washer & dryer on the lower level.

When you are outside, you can hear Hall Creek flowing back in the woods which really does give you a sense of "being away from it all". Enjoy grilling on the propane bbq & eating dinner in the fresh air at the outdoor dining table - both on the back deck.

On clear days we have a beautiful view of Mount Rainier out the living room window and in the evening we have a wonderful 50-jet hot tub waiting for you to relax away in while you gaze at the stars. Enjoy sitting around the campfire roasting s'mores.

This property is one of those that does everything right. All the normal stuff was there, but the real magic manifested itself every time I needed something, as it seemed to magically appear in front of my face. The host is also clearly a high performer who does it right. This place is as perfect of a Packwood cabin retreat as it's possible to be. Will definitely be staying again.

This beautiful, quiet cabin has a view of snowy Mount Rainier right from the living room window, which is spectacular in the mornings and evenings with magical golden hour side light! My friend very much enjoyed the hot tub each day. I enjoyed hanging out on the back deck and gazing into the woods. Birdwatchers may appreciate this spot too - watch for Steller's Jays, Juncos, Thrushes and American Crows, at least this time of year. My friend and I each had a whole floor to ourselves and slept so comfortably in the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Checking in and out were very easy with good instructions and good directions to find the property. We did have to clean off the deck before we could used it but recognize it's outside. The upstairs bathroom pocket door got slid all the way into the wall and was hard to pull out so it could be closed. Maybe check to see if there is a way to keep it from going in so far. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well equipped.

Wonderful cabin at the foot of Mount Rainier

The cabin was perfect in almost every way - a lot of room, plenty of amenities and lots of wonderful nice little touches. The hosts went to great care to make us feel at home. We stayed in four places over an 8-day visit to the Pacific Northwest and this was our favorite by far! If you're visiting Mount Rainier National Park, you have easy, quick access and the town of Packwood offers groceries and multiple food options. Packwood Brewing was a highlight in town!

Such a fantastic property!!! Very accommodating cabin inside and out. Exceptionally clean. Our two daughters enjoyed the downstairs bed. We enjoyed the very comfortable living quarters on the third floor. The kitchen was well equipped. The patios were delightful. The location of this cabin could not have been better. 4-5 minutes to Packwood. Mt Ranier hiking only 30 minutes away. Would 100% recommend!

We booked this cabin for a ski trip to White Pass. The three levels gave us plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. The kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking meals and the beds were all comfortable. The cabin was conveniently located about 25 min from the mountain and a 3 min drive to the grocery store. We all enjoyed time in the hot tub as well. It was too cold to use the grill/deck or firepit, but I imagine those would be nice amenities in other seasons. Liz and Jordan were good about replying to all messages within a reasonable amount of time.

Nice house

Nice location, warm and cozy interior. The grill was listed as part of the rental and there was no mention that it might not be usable during the colder months(we are very much grill master regardless of the time of year). The grill was gross and dirty, looked like mold was growing in it. Attempted to clean it with the grill wipes and cleaning brush found under the sink. Gave up and just used the burners, bummer but otherwise a nice stay with lot is sleeping area for larger groups.

Wonderful property in quiet wooded setting

This facility was in a quiet, wooded, peaceful setting just outside of "downtown" Packwood. The Baby Bear cabin seemed to be in spotless condition. The interior decor features lots of wood, which we loved. The advance and onsite communication and instructions from the owners was clear and helpful. We loved our stay! I suppose the only negative was that the king bed on the upper level was pretty squishy/hammocky and not very comfortable for two senior citizens. That being said, I highly recommend this facility!

Amazing - model VRBO

First the care preparing this cabin for vacationers should be a model for anyone who rents their space. Everything we could need clearly laid out, clear instrucs, absolutely immaculate, any concern points you may have described in listing. Communication when I failed to understand entry info was instantaneous. The hot tub was wonderful after a day enjoying area - went to Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens (latter a little longer jaunt). The only complaint I had was the owners only scheduled the elk to roam the front yard one morning, we'd like to have seen them every morning!!!! One of our very favorite rentals ever.
