Watch the sunset off the dock, take the kayaks for a spin around the Lake, or just breathe in the pine scented air in this A-frame inspired Adirondack cabin on the shores of Mountain View Lake with its own private dock and 200 feet of private shoreline. Close to skiing, golfing, snow-mobile/ATV trails, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting- a nature lover's dream in any season! There are two fireplaces to cozy up to in the winter, and a deck to enjoy outdoor dining with views of the water in the summer. The jacuzzi tub upstairs is great to unwind in. The property also includes 2 kayaks and a canoe. Western facing for the BEST sunsets and the mountain views over the lake are just breathtaking! This is the perfect location for a getaway to unwind, disconnect from the everyday bustle, and reconnect with nature while still enjoying luxury amenities.

The house itself was beautiful, and the location on the lake was picturesque. There were undoubtedly several aspects that needed improvement before I could recommend this rental to anyone else. First of all, an error in the provided directions to the property caused us to travel about two hours in the wrong direction before we realized the mistake. A few key things were missing that would have improved our stay, including pillowcases on one of the beds, a coffee maker, baking trays, wine opener, and salt/pepper/oil. There were only four of us staying here this weekend, and there wasn't enough seating for us to eat together at a table or relax comfortably in the living room. We did make use of the canoe, which was fun, enjoying an evening on the lake. It seemed we were among the first renters for this property, and hopefully, it will improve in the future.
