Quiet detached bungalow on the Oosterschelde

Beautiful, fully renovated detached vacation bungalow for up to 5 people in Ouwerkerk. The house is located in a very green and peaceful area, within walking distance of the Oosterschelde. There are 3 bedrooms: bedroom 1 with a double bed measuring 1.60–2.00 m, bedroom 2 with a pull-out bed, so 2 beds measuring 80 x 2.00 m, and one room with a single bed measuring 90 x 2.00 m. <br>Bathroom with sink and walk-in shower, separate toilet, large, cozy living room opening onto the open kitchen. <br>The house is modern and cozy, with a colorful and warm decor. There is a pellet stove that can be lit on chilly evenings.<br>Sliding doors open onto the patio and the large garden, bordered by trees and shrubs. There is also a patio on the side, partially covered. The garden gets plenty of sun, and there’s always a nice spot in the shade to be found. The garden offers complete privacy.<br>At the back of the garden, there’s a secret path leading to the large (play) meadow.<br>Behind this lie the creeks (formed by the 1953 flood), and along them you can take a walk of about fifteen minutes to the Oosterschelde and the Watersnoodmuseum.<br>Ouwerkerk is a small and charming village on the edge of the Oosterschelde. There’s a nice café where you can stop for a cup of coffee or a delicious plate of mussels. There are regular live performances.<br>Near Ouwerkerk is a small beach, which is maintained by volunteers from the village. <br>You can enjoy wonderful bike rides in the area to one of the charming villages such as Dreischor or Brouwershaven, a ride along the Oosterschelde, or to the beautiful town of Zierikzee, which is 8 km from Ouwerkerk. Zierikzee is a beautiful historic town with countless monuments, charming shops, and many restaurants.<br>The beaches of Schouwen-Duiveland are beautiful and expansive, but there are also many small (village) beaches, such as the one in Ouwerkerk. There’s plenty of nature to explore, such as Plan Tureluur, the Domeinen, and the forests of Westerschouwen.
