The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request), and a double, along with a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside, there is a private garden on grounds with lawn, patio with seating, and a lake with jetty, a barbecue and fire pit are also available, while ample off-road parking is available. Hendre is an idyllic cottage experience for a family looking to seek out their own private haven. Note: Lake area not enclosed, please ensure children are supervised at all times. Penybontfawr is a classic Welsh village overlooking the surrounding woodland, valleys and hills of the Berwyn Mountains, the village boasts a pub, Post Office, and a church. The historic village of Llangynog is nearby, boasting walking trails, birdwatching, cycling routes and climbing opportunities, whereas Dolgellau is home to a popular mountain bike centre. Visit the scenic Lake Bala where you can partake in fishing, whitewater rafting, or explore the lakeside steam railway, another nearby lake is in Vyrnwy, home to a RSPB centre and sculpture park. Penybontfawr is a peaceful corner of Wales, in close proximity to beautiful wildlife, as well as Pistyll Rhaedr, the tallest single drop waterfall in England and Wales.
