The room was basic but nice and my son enjoyed the pool. Staff were helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a couple minutes walk from the GO train.

The front staff weren’t very welcoming and kept speaking to each other in another language during the entire check in process which was frustrating. There’s only one elevator which is ancient and nervous to ride. The hotel rooms were fine. Your basic hotel room, nothing exceptional.

When I first arrived, I was told there would be an extra fee if I wanted to check in at that moment, so I said I preferred to wait. Minutes later, a white man arrived and there was no objection or extra charge for his check in. When the manager realized that I had noticed the difference, he suddenly offered to check me in without the fee. Racism? Sexism? Overall rude attitude. I am never coming back.

The 1st room was OK. The cover could do with some new ones. The sofa is dirty, need cleaning. The A/C was on and the heat could not come on I was told I had to wait until someone comes to check. Anyhow I was given another room instead . That was good. The phone in room 109 is disgustingly filthy. Service was fair. The front desk person was OK. Appreciate his help.
