Great Vacation Spot

The condo was clean and the complex was great! There was something for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and if we go to Alabama again, this is where we will stay!

Loved this condo

We have stayed at this Phoenix several times in the past. Love the new addition of the adult pool and covered bbq grills.

Wonderful visit

Lots of room for 8 people to stay & sleep. Each bedroom had its in bathroom plus an extra full bath which was wonderful! It is beautifully decorated. We would definitely rent again

We enjoyed our stay,Perfect sunsets from the balcony.Pool and was great wish we could have done the lazy river but never seemed like a good time and we didn’t know to bring a float because they were limited .

Awesome Stay

Party of 9 had plenty of space to hang out and all necessary appliances for dining in. The convenience of being steps from the beach and pools made the stay even better. Highly recommend!

Great Condo! Ton of amenities

This was our first time at the Phoenix West 2. We have stayed in orange beach for years, but we had never stayed here. Everything was very clean and convenient.

Great Family Location

Great for kids! Pools and lazy river were quite a hit for all the kids. Easy beach access! Great restaurants close by. North facing unit but you can see the sunset from the back porch.

A few days on the beach

We brought our daughter and a few of her friends for their senior year spring break. We all enjoyed our stay, so much for them to do. The condo was very clean and quiet. The girls were able to go to the pools, hot tubs, and fitness center and I didn’t have to worry about them. Very secured place. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Updates

The layout of the property was great. Loved the amount of rooms & placement. The decor needed some updating & also needed some maintenance. Outlets in master bathroom did not work at all. One bathroom toilet seat was ready to come off & hall light only worked from entrance area. We loved the hot tub, sauna, beach & pool area. It was unfortunately too cool for the lazy river but maybe next time we visit it will be warmer. Short distance to most places we wanted to go. So all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, convenient beach access, pools and lazy river were a lot of fun! The unit was not in the best of shape, stains on the rugs, furniture visibly worn to the point it looked dirty, a lot of scuffs, dings, and holes in the walls from pictures/decor that was removed. There were cheese its under one of the beds left from previous guests and not cleaned. Towels were very dingy and old, mattress protectors were ripped to shreds. For 4 bathrooms plus the kitchen there were only 2 things of hand soap.

Overall, this is a great spot for families with both kids under and over 12. The BIGGEST drawback of this property are the elevators. The second biggest drawback is the chair setup (Ike's) because either you are five rows deep or you are 100 yards from the ocean with 3 rows of other umbrellas, tents, etc. in front of you.On the elevators, there always seemed to be 1 or more down and with all of the families and their beach wagons, people checking in or out with carts and bringing groceries up with grocery carts - space was tight. Many times we just had to separate to get some of our party on the elevators.We were on the 21st floor and just gave up and walked down the stairs more than once. We had bigs (all kids over 12) so it was fine. That won't be an option for families with littles. The property is fantastic. If you can get on a lower floor, I would recommend it.

The one complaint is the elevators - impossible. Consider staggering times for people to gain access. It literally took hours to get to our room and get our belongings - so starting out was frustrating. It was a holiday weekend, but still way over the top in terms of a problem.
