Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, room comfort
The place was not clean when we got in and it could use a thorough deep clean. There're splashes of food outside and inside of kitchen cabinets, dirty stove, one of the bathroom sinks was backed up due to hair and nasty grime on the drain stopper (GROSS), ceiling fans had half an inch of dust on them, there's dirt and dust under the beds, the floors were still sandy from the previous renters, the towels in the cabinet were folded but still wet ... There's no telling if they're washed at all, so we had to wash them just in case... The list can go on. I mentioned the condition of the condo to our contact and she said they haven't had a break in renters during the season to do a deep clean... By this logic I guess we're destined to stay in a dirty place... or they can just block out a couple of days to do the clean! She also asked why we didn't mention the condition when we first check in. First off, we kept noticing things throughout our stay. Second, the last thing you want while you're trying to unpack and settle with a one year old is strangers at the place cleaning.... especially when you're stuck at the condo all day due to rain. The common areas of this complex are also run down and dirty. The only thing these condos have going for them is that they're right on the beach... but there's plenty of other places to chose from.
