I was in Norman, OK for a conference, so I was mostly looking for some place to sleep and get the occasional meal. Rooms: rooms were fine enough in terms of space, furniture, and decor. The bed was miserable--rock hard and very thin, and being 250 lbs meant that the mattress did nothing to support the pressure points. The bathroom does not have a fan, so I suspect beneath the paint of the bathroom walls there's tons of mold. That moldy smell was palpable in the room. Facilities: above the ice machine on the second floor, there's TONS of mold on the ceiling, which was disgusting. The cardio gym smelt like a cat's litter box. Overall, the hotel had a faint stench of sewage and cleaner. Restaurant/breakfast: breakfast was okay. Restaurant had decent food, but it's a bummer that they can't run it up to your room for you. I was really disappointed that the bar wasn't open on Sunday evening.

The hotel is fine. Fitness center is a joke and smells disgusting. AC unit smells musty when it kicks on. Way overpriced for a game weekend but I realize demand makes them get it. As long as your expectations are not high, you'll be pleased.

Very clean hotel and room, with easy parking and a convenient location near OU to visit my daughter. Kathy at the front desk was very nice and helpful with dining suggestions. The only downside was the pool—it was dirty and unusable, which was disappointing in the hot weather. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.
