Great place to experience a traditional Japanese ryokan. Food was excellent, and it was very close to the lake and shopping area. But the room was too cold to stay in icy Winer. If I go again, it will be either in Spring or Fall.

Very friendly staff Good meal Very big and Nice private onsen room. The only downside about the outdoor private onsen was it had a lot of ants and I also saw a worm. Also they allow you to store your luggage and leave your car in their parking after check out so you can walk around the area afterward :)

Great location - walking distance to main shopping street and landmark lake. 4 public indoor-outdoor baths to try. Mansionette room has own indoor-outdoor bath, a spacious sitting room and two bedrooms - one with beds and one with futons. Meal plan is great and authentic Japanese spread. Only downside may be that some rooms are near to coach parking area.

This hotel is right in the middle of where you like to be in Yufusin, with restaurants, shops and the lake closeby. The service is absolutely top class Japanese style with every detail thought of and excecuted to perfection. It is very warm and homely. The room (2 floors with 2 private onsen one inside and one out in our own yard) was excellent. There are also 4 public onsens. The food was good with a lot of food to eat. Our kidsโ€™ meals also came in a number of courses and while they couldn't quite finish them they ate like adults - the food was good. Overall an excellent experience and it is highly recommended.

We had an excellent time during our stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food, service, and overall experience of the stay has meet every expectation. Thank you for providing the birthday cake and giving her a birthday present which made our day extra special. The place is right beside the Kinrinko and is great for morning strolls to enjoy the beautiful sceneries. I would recommend this place for my friends and family as we had a great time staying here.
