"Perfect Canal Retreat for Boat Lovers and Families!" "Perfect Canal Retreat for and Families"

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home on the canal at Ocean Isle Beach. It was a dream being able to dock our boat right in the backyard and enjoy the water whenever we wanted. My family—wife, son, and daughter—had a great time swimming in the canal and soaking in the scenic views. The peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of having the boat dock made it the perfect vacation spot for us. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront escape!

Sublime experience!

It’s hard to summarize how perfect this was for us. Coutenay’s home was beautiful! We were four adults, me and my 3 adult children and my 3 year old grandson. It was absolutely perfect. One thing we didn’t expect, but was extremely welcome was the afternoon shade on the screened in porch and the swings downstairs! This was much appreciated in the hot afternoons

We had a great vacation! House was very clean and exactly as described! We were able to bring our boat and take advantage of the boat dock and canal. Easy walk to public beach access. Really enjoyed being able to use beach buggy, beach toys, crab cage, fishing poles and kayaks! Kids all loved it and want to come back next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Vacation Home

We booked this house for our family and friends and had a wonderful time. Easy access to the canal to kayak and float around. Easy 4 minute walk to the beach with close public beach access. We really enjoyed our time at Marker10!!

Best Vacation Ever!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! There was something to do for everyone, regardless of age. The kayaks were a real treat! My daughter and I spent several hours in the canal - fishing, swimming, and kayaking! We even saw a young sea turtle swim by! It was an easy walk to the beach and the weather was fantastic. The fully stocked kitchen was such a nice surprise! I spent early mornings reading on the screened in porch and late evenings swinging on the porch swing. It was so relaxing! The beds were comfortable and the house stayed cool, thanks to 2 thermostats. My daughter said the loft was “every kids dream!” Absolutely perfect for our family. Thank you so much for opening your home to us! We can’t wait to come back.

What a perfect place for a family gathering !.. this home was very clean, welcoming, comfortable for our family . Good mattresses made for a great night of sleep, and the home owner was great to communicate with when we had any questions. …. Just a reminder, remember to bring sheets, towels, toilet paper , dish soap.. … kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. Great parking and only 5 minute walk to beach ( or less) I’ll definitely rent this place at OIB again!

Great Property!

We loved staying at this location...it's about a 8-10 minute walk to the beach, 1/2 mile walk to putt putt and ice cream, and a wonderful house to stay in. This was our first trip to OIB, but definitely not our last!

Perfect house for our stay

This house was perfect for our extended stay. We used the canal to kayak and watch the wild life go by. It was a short walk to the beach, museum and ice cream. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would consider it again next year.

Excellent property, well maintained and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay including beach essentials. The beach is a short walk away and the owner provided umbrella, chairs, toys and games for the kids to use in the sand. Highly recommended for a family vacation to OIB.

Spring Break Success

This was the perfect house for us over Spring Break! My three boys (4, 8, 11) loved the dock for fishing. We brought our own rods, but the house has a good supply. The kayaks were a family favorite. The walk to the beach is super quick and easy, even for a 4 year old. The house was spotless and a perfect location, close to restaurants, mini golf, and the bait shop. The screened porch was my favorite- the perfect spot for drinking my morning coffee, reading a book, and taking a nap. We’d go back tomorrow if we could!

Perfect beach getaway

We love vacationing in Ocean Isle! We decided on a very last minute (week of) booking at Courtenay's home and things could not have gone smoother had we planned months in advance. The communication from Courtenay regarding anything and everything we would need was amazing . The house is very well laid out, we never felt cramped and most importantly very clean!!! The canal is a bonus, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy boating or kayaking! The beach was super close and access very easy to get to. The only negative is our trip was too short as we had to leave a few days early due to a family emergency but Courtenay was wonderful in helping us make the check-out process smooth and get our linens returned to the rental company. I would definitely recommend this property and we hope to enjoy another visit soon!
