Perfect location and super easy check-in/out process! We had a fantastic time as a family for our beach vacation. We even got to see sea turtles born and excavation!

Clean and perfect beach retreat getaway for the weekend... Pet friendly house was just right for us and footsteps away from the surf.

Simple Retreat

The location was perfect for a quiet and simple beach getaway. No fancy Bella and whistles and the A/C struggled a little on very hot days, but the house was nicely furnished and had all of the kitchen and beach amenities that we needed.

We have been coming to Oak Island for years and I have been staying at Healing Waters for 4 years. It is always wonderful! The house is so quaint, peaceful, and on the beach!

Fall trip!

Great place on the beach! Loved the quiet atmosphere on the beach. The house was super clean and the host was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again! It was the perfect size for our group of four!

Great Stay! Could use a little updating

We had a great time during our stay at Healing Waters. Everything was set for our stay and being on the beach was amazing. The house could definitely use some updates though given the cost you pay for your stay - the inside furnishings looks pretty worn and many cooking items in kitchen were put away dirty. For the cost, not sure we would stay here again.

Wonderful!

Ive stayed in many houses in Oak Island, this was one of my favorites. Cute little place in a great location, loved the close beach access. House was clean and had all the promised amenities, host was great with communication. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful

We very much enjoyed the privilege of staying in this freshly renovated and tastefully decorated home. It has a beautiful ocean view, a very nice porch, and has a well-stocked kitchen for making family dinners. We had a very happy stay.

Nice vacation!

Our family enjoyed the visit on Oak Island, NC. There was plenty to do but most of all, we liked having a house on the beach and staying together for a week! The itrip folks were helpful and prompt when we had any requests. We are happy to use them again to look into a family vacation stay. Unfortunately we had some stormy weather but still had a good time.

Oak Island and Healing Waters are the Best!

This is our second year at Healing Waters. It is just perfect for our family of 5. No frills, but nicely maintained and all we need to enjoy a wonderful stay at the beach. We love it here!!! The beach is beautiful and the island has a lot of offer. We love that it is close to Southport for great shopping. This place is great and we’re already booked again for next year!

My family had a great time at Healing Waters on Oak Island. The beach wasn't busy. We had one issue with the guest toilet not working and they were there to fix it the same day. The house was clean. Thank you for providing us with a memorable vacation

Wonderful Location, but bring supplies.

Wonderful house and, great location!! The outdoor shower is perfect with the rain shower head! If you are staying longer then a week you need to buy extra toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels. I wish it had a iron. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Best beachfront stay in OKI!

Mary is the best host I’ve ever had! I’ve stayed in Oak Island for about six years now and she is hands down the most accommodating host. The house was extremely clean (this was such a relief because I have worked with the property management company on the island -iykyk- and things were not clean whatsoever in past rentals). Mary is attentive and her home is so cozy. Her and her home definitely made this the best OKI trip I’ve ever had. I highly recommend and will refer Mary and her home to everyone!

Great location!!! Very cute cottage. Air conditioning was great. Shower curtain liner in the hall bath was really moldy, toilet didn’t flush well, and bedding was clean but stained and very worn. Coffee maker using pods did not work.

Healing Waters

This home was just what we needed for our week stay in Oak Island! We’ve stayed at several on the island over the years and this home far surpassed our expectations! Added bonus? The air actually works! Lol. It was in the perfect spot on the beach, the most relaxing deck with rockers & all in between! The property management was quick responses with whatever it was we needed as well! Book here. You won’t regret it. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

Peaceful Memories

We just returned from a 3 day trip to OKI . We had a wonderful time and made some wonderful memories. Our son was home from Switzerland to enjoy the time with us. We stayed at Healing Waters. What a perfect name for the place. Spent lots of porch sitting time,sipping coffee and reminiscing. Walks on the beach were peaceful and pleasantAll of this was smoothly facilitated by the wonderful staff of iTrip. We were welcomed and given a great orientation of the house. A nice welcoming package contained all the “start up” supplies we needed and was waiting for us. ITrip took care of all our needs and even exceeded our expectations. They made sure that we had everything we needed to insure a great time together. I can readily recommend iTrip for the arrangement of your next vacation. Warm regards and sincere thanks iTrip staff!

A Gem of a Property!

We were incredibly pleased with Healing Waters! While it is one of the older homes on the island, it has clearly been well cared for over the years! The home was very clean, nicely appointed and made good use of space. We thought we'd need the picnic table for dinners for our group of 7, but the island was comfortable and easily seated 7 (with the help of an extra stool we found in the pantry!) The master bathroom is quite small, but the outdoor shower helped alleviate that situation, as there was no way my 6'5" 240lb husband was going to fit in that shower stall! The hallway bathroom had a broken towel ring and was not furnished with a hand towel, but we made due with paper towels. The only true problem we had during out stay was very minor (the hose had a hole in it,) but was fixed less than 18 hours after we advised of the issue. Great service! My only true complaint is that the home was changed to pet friendly with no notification after we had signed the contract for a 100% pet free home. I was assured that the home would be thoroughly cleaned, including all bedding, as my son has a dog allergy. I am assuming this was done, as we had no issues. This change will make this house unusable for us in the future, which is unfortunate because it is truly a gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fletcher Beach Vacation 2023

We had a wonderful time at Healing Waters. The beach cottage is just perfect. Nicely maintained and updated and just the right size for our family of 5. Direct beach access is fantastic. Mary was wonderful as we had a few bumps in the beginning of the trip. We highly recommending staying here if you have the chance. Wonderful!!
