Choice of Dining either inside at table or outside on the screened in lanai.

Living room has new 55" HD Smart flat screen TV with Netflix, Hulu, Apple compatibility for entertainment. Sliding doors to the 40 foot screened in lanai for relaxing on the lounge chairs or enjoying your dinner/playing games at the table.

This condominium is super nice and comfortable for a family. The host is amazing and had lots of good tips and was very communicative. You can barely see the beach but you can walk just a short way toward the beach and be in the water. The condo is very nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We really loved this place!

Great condo, wonderful host.

We had visited Rum Point several times in past years and we fell in love with it. We particularly liked the clean white sand that extended from the shore far out into the ocean. This time much of the sea floor was covered with ugly sea grass, making the beach much less enjoyable. Apparently stupid government regulations won’t let anyone remove the sea grass. We still enjoyed the unit, and our hostess was very nice, but we were disappointed by Rum Point.

Great Vacation Location

Great location at Rum Point. Stephanie was an amazing host with an amazing home. It's clean, well stocked with essentials, and lots of fun beach stuff for the kids. The Retreat #17 has everything you need to have a relaxing family vacation at the best spot on the island.

Amazing!

This place was perfect- everything we needed and more. So well stocked, clean and the perfect amount of indoor and outdoor space. If you are on the fence about this condo or coming to the island, just do it! The stingrays, sea turtles and bioluminescent bay- words don't do it justice. This retreat was the perfect space to come and go from after the adventures or spend lazy days using the private beach with chairs or time at the pool. It was the best!

Perfect location and an amazing condo

This condo was a 2 BR condo at The Retreat on Rum Point. "Recently renovated" was nice to see in the description but when we arrived, it was awesome. The appliances were all current models with electronic panels. Bright walls and Caribbean furniture which was remarkably comfortable. The inside as well as the patio furniture was wonderful. Multiple TVs and a fully stocked game cabinet and kitchen. Everything you need for a vacation... towels, cooking utensils condiments from previous guests, charcoal... just everything.Stephanie was terrific as a host and greeted us in person as well as electronically. She was so responsive too. You know, when you need something you usually need it now? Well, she was right there for us.Rum Point has a fabulous beach that is knee deep 100 yds from shore so really safe and CLEAN. Red Sail tours stops at the pier so this condo and this location is perfect for families or just a getaway. Not as busy as 7 mile and for us, that is terrific.Know this however... there are many, many condos at The Retreat. They are not all the same as they are individually owned. We had 2 condos for the family. This one and one on the top floor. The difference in the units was night and day.We highly recommend this condo. As Stephanie's is the way to go compared to the other condos in the same complex.

Peace and quiet

I recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week at this property. I was already familiar with the Rum Point and Cayman Kai area and picked The Retreat specifically for its location. This unit was exactly as depicted in the listing and met my needs very well. The large lanai was one of my favorite features and I spent many pleasant hours out there reading. I also utilized the pool and fitness room daily, and almost always had them to myself. The kitchen was well-stocked with condiments and cooking ingredients, as well as utensils and pots & pans. I also enjoyed the cable TV system as well as the additional streaming services that were provided. Stephanie was a delightful host - very helpful and responsive when I had questions. Bottom line, I was so satisfied with my experience that I have already booked again for next year.

Great Trip and location

We stayed at this property mid January 2025. Everything was as described if not better. The snorkeling was great from the large pier just behind the property around the corner to Rum point. The condo was quiet, clean and plenty of room for four adults in our early fifties. There were several places to eat near by but I would say a rental car is a must. Several other great restaurants are a 15-25 minute drive away. The condo was stocked with everything a group would want, my wife and friend especially enjoyed the inflatable floaties for lounging in the ocean on the beach side of the property. The host Stephanie was very good with communication and answered any of our questions in a timely fashion. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful place in a great location.

We just returned from seven perfect days at the Retreat 17. Stephanie is a gracious host and she responded quickly to any questions both before and during our stay. Very clean well furnished 2 bed/2 bath at Retreat at Rum Point. Julie came and brought a lantern, flashlights and extra batteries as Raphael storm arrived. Stephanie was in communication with Hurricane info for us. They made sure we were safe and sound. Thanks!

All previous reviews were spot on accurate about everything: host's hospitality was fabulous, home includes all beach equipment needed and more, location is great and private with quick grocery and restaurant access and food deliveries even come out there, and stocked kitchen and more. Absolutely Amazing

We were VERY pleased with our stay at the condo! It was roomy for four people. Plenty of space to eat and relax. I loved the huge screened in lanai (patio). The vegetation in the back area created a feeling of privacy. We only saw one person walk by our patio the whole week we were there. We love to cook and were happy to find that the kitchen was very well stocked, including high quality cookware and lots of containers for leftovers. We were happy with everything about the kitchen! Very organized too! There were also lots of beach items stocked as well, such as floats, bags, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. We had plenty to use. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. I slept like a baby there. There were no complaints from anyone about the bedding, or anything at all for that matter. The location was perfect for our family. We decided on Rum Point over 7 mile beach because we heard it was quieter, and indeed it was! Every morning we took an early morning walk and we were the only ones out there. There was never any loud music or loud people. There seems to be a lot more wildlife over there to enjoy. Hermit crabs, land crabs, small fish at the shore, conchs, snails. You do have to know that there are limited restaurants on that side of the island, but it worked for us because we either cooked in the condo our ate out while we were exploring other parts of the island. The host was AMAZING! Super kind, prompt, and helpful. We most definitely will be returning!

WONDERFUL

We love coming to the Caymans and staying on the north side, it is always so relaxing and the clear blue waters are amazing. I was delighted to come across this perfect place! The condo is absolutely lovely! Quite spacious, equipped with lots of amenities, very clean and quiet. Just a few steps to a private beach, along with Rum Point and Red Sail sports:. Local coffee at Kaibo and Starfish point are minutes away…it was simply perfect. And I cannot say enough about the owner. She was beyond kind and helpful - and great with communication and details. She made our trip stress and worry free. We will definitely be back and always choose to stay here (if available).

The unit is clean, well stocked with the appropriate dishes/glasses/pots and pans and a nice assortment of spices etc. Plenty of pool and ocean water toys also in the unit. My wife and I stayed in the gorgeous two-bedroom condo for 10 days and had a great experience. The unit was well stocked with every conceivable item a vacationing family could ask for or require. We felt safe and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, prepared and organized - it even had two coffee machines (drip and Keurig)! Ample beach towels and bathroom supplies. The Queen bed and pair of twin beds were comfortable. For families with young children there were floating devices. The beach is a short 30 second walk within the complex and has many chairs and chaise lounges, in the sun or in the shade of palm trees. The beach is well kept and the clear, warm water is easy to walk into unlike other North Side beaches. A small bit of corral is 15 yards/meters off the beach and another larger accessible corral patch (visited by excursion boats) is 100 yards off the beach. We saw many stingrays, large sea turtles and a near-infinite number of tropical fish - all of which are not threatening to snorkelers like us. If you have an underwater camera you will have a memorable set of pictures from the various sea life. The owner/host was in frequent contact before and during our entire stay always willing to handle issues (none) or even shop for us (not needed). Exceeded Expectations

By far the best experience we have ever had renting a condo! Stephanie was very attentive and responded promptly to any questions we had prior to the stay and during the stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t believe how well stocked the condo was with beach towels, chairs, board games, puzzles, books, dishes, pots and pans, etc. It definetly felt like a home away from home! The private beach was nice and quiet. No crowds and everyone was super friendly! Will definetly book again.
