First day
Checkin in was perfectly fine. Arriving at the hotel was a different story. It is very chaotic trying to unload. Walking into room was stressful, water all over the bathroom floor, door wouldn’t lock, fridge wasn’t working. Maintenance got there around 10pm that evening, making a lot of noise trying to fix bathroom. Refrigerator wasn’t working properly until day 3. Bathroom door lock was never fixed. Was told by Elliot supervisor that that out of courtesy our guests staying with us should simply knock. Thought that was very rude, especially when we had several young kids who like to barge into rooms. Going back and forth was very stressful. Finally at the end of our stay spoke with Shana who is the front desk director who was the most helpful person. But overall, would I go back to this property, definitely not. We’ve been vacationing in Myrtle beach for the past 10+ years with covid putting a stop to it and finally returning this year and we’ve never had this many issues with any of our stays at other facilities.
