The home was very close to the mountain on a quiet street. Everything was clean and well maintained. The weekend was very cold but house was nice and toasty.

Wonderful Home - Right by Sunday River

This house if perfect for two couples with two kids in tow. Super clean and organized - comfortable and charming to spend time in after days of skiing. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

Perfect stay!

This property was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and well-appointed. There were so many thoughtful touches that made this house truly the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in (e.g., easy-access HDMI ports on the ENOURMOUS TV, great Wi-Fi, great kitchen with all the essentials). Check in was seamless and great communication from the owners. We highly recommend this location. Thank you, Michele and Jason!

Excellent Sunday River location!

Located so close to the mountain! It was perfect for our trip with kiddos we could come and go from slopes as needed. Such better space for us than anything available through Sunday River itself. We super appreciated the restaurant and area recommendations provided! Thank you!

MLK ski weekend

Excellent experience staying at river ranch. Everything was new and clean and worked very well. Michele and Jason were very accommodating and communication about check-in and the stay was very clear and helpful. We'll definitely return to stay at River Ranch whenever we're back to ski at Sunday River.

Charming Ski House

We loved this beautiful ski inspired home, pefect for our family. Welcoming spaces with cozy couch and beds. We stayed in one night and made a fire, cooked dinner and played games. Hosts were increadibly helpful with lots of great recommendations for the area. Location can't be beat! Highly recommend!

Perfect

Wonderful location and property! The house is a minute drive from Sunday River resort so traffic is not an issue. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable and there were lots of "extra" touches that made the house very special. Everything is updated and the owners were very communicative.

Great ski weekend

Our stay at River Ranch was great. House was clean and well stocked. Very close to South Ridge Lodge (walking distance if you're up for it, though it would be a trek with gear). Michele was very communicative. AND we got 3 feet of snow - couldn't ask for a better time!

Wonderful Weekend with Friends

A small group of friends rented this property for our final ski weekend of the year. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the home and the care that was clearly taken in updating and maintaining the property. Michele was so helpful and accommodating when we had questions We would love to return to this rental next year! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!

Excellent Sunday River Home

We stayed in this home over February school break with two families. It was clean, well provisioned with kitchen necessities, newly renovated and a two minute drive to the South Ridge base lodge. You can't do better for a ski vacation at Sunday River. The owners were great to deal with and we had no issues while we were there. It's so new no one has yet left any spices, so make sure to bring what you need. If it works out, we'd love to come back and stay again!

Sunday River Long Weekend

We have stayed at many ski rentals in CO, UT and several throughout the years at Sunday River. This was the cleanest and most well appointed interiors we have experienced. The description of the location is accurate. About a 10-5 min walk or about a 2 min drive to the lodge. The garage and car park are a nice plus for the nights with fresh snow, making the morning trip to the mountain that much easier.Our family enjoyed the space and the coziness of this house. We hope we can enjoy it again I’m a future Sunday River trip.

Consistently Exceeds Expectations

This was our family's second time staying at River Ranch during a trip to Sunday River. Everything about this property is exceptional. From the short distance to South Ridge to the inviting and impeccably maintained homey interiors, well-stocked kitchen, and garage parking, River Ranch consistently goes above and beyond expectations. The property owners, Michele and Jason, are a delight to work and uber responsive, and their desire to provide a great home base for families on vacation is evident. We will continue to rent River Ranch as long as it is available.

modern ranch in a great location

We are a family of five with three college aged kids. The house setup was ideal for us. Everything in the home seemed new and well thought out for a vacation week. Great value and communication with the owners. Super easy to Sunday River skiing and great restaurants. Kitchen well equipped to make meals, too. Quiet street and yard good for dog walks. They also have a nicely made ramp to enter the house which makes access simpler for an elderly or disabled family member, and that isn't common with vacation rentals. Would definitely recommend.

Very Clean and Up-to-date

We really enjoyed our stay in the summertime. The area was so quiet and peaceful; almost no traffic. The house was very clean and “modern”. Decorated nicely. There wasn’t much in the kitchen to help with cooking but that was fine because we were attending a wedding. Even though it says it sleeps 8-10, it’s really only comfortable for 2 couples (4-5 adults) and the rest children because the double couch sofa and trundle bed were not very comfortable at all. Regardless, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would go again, just not with 8 adults.

Fabulous Property!

We just spent an amazing weekend at River Ranch for my daughter's 22nd birthday ski weekend! There were 9 of us and our dog and we all loved the space. It was clean, spacious and the beds were so comfortable. There was an abundance of cozy blankets and cute little touches throughout. Michele and Jason were super responsive when I had a minor IT issue. Very friendly and accessible. The location to Sunday River was another huge plus. Just 2 minutes to South Ridge lodge. I highly recommend this property! Thanks for a great weekend!

The coziest ski house ever

We opened the door to River Ranch and immediately felt at home. From the brand new kitchen to the cozy, oversized living room furniture and the just right bedrooms, this home had everything our family could want and need in a rental without the excessive extras. It was a serene escape to sink into at the end of the day for our whole family… fur baby included. The cherry on top of the home was how lovely, warm, and responsive our hosts were. Michele was proactive in checking in, sharing details for the home, and ensuring we were comfortable. We will be back again for the 23/24 season!
