There was 3 of us gf's taking a 2 day trip for my 45th bday. My friend staying in the room just had a knee replacement. Our location was crucial. The host was unresponsive to several messages prior to arrival. We arrived by train 1hr prior to check in. I wanted to confirm the location so we could get transportation within the vicinity. Upon arrival we ubered to the address on the listing. Again, which I strategically picked from the "map view" to accommodate my friends recent surgery. We were told to go to a different address than what was booked. It was a half a mile away. No longer in midtown and now in Hell's Kitchen. It was apparent it was not the same place. There were 2 stools instead of a kitchen set for 4. 1 of the 2 stools were balanced to look in working condition. We placed a bag on a side table which was missing a leg and collapsed. We checked the other furniture to find that the stool collapsed. The freezer was a 2 cubic foot block of ice. In other words it was inoperable. I chose a full kitchen not just for snacks but the ice pack my friend required for her knee. There were plenty of K-cups but no kuerig. The toilet paper holder was broken. The outside terrace looked like a home for pests. A text message received said check out was an hour earlier or we will be charged 100. The explanation given for the relocation was that people invite others and throw parties. Completely irrelevant to us 40ish yr old women traveling from 200 miles away. So disappointing!
