Halfway to Florida

Great location if you are looking to get away from things. We had pets and it’s perfect for them to roam around. Owner was considerate enough to let us in a little early. Can get to Cary or Raleigh fairly quickly.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
Dried urine on the baseboards, dog hair in the beds and sheets from a previous guest, mold in the coffee pot, and no communication from the homeowner. House was clearly not cleaned before we arrived. Grass has not been kept up with and cut our dogs legs up. We left a day early because it was such an uncomfortable experience.

There was no functioning conventional oven as pictured in listing. We were not prepared to cook our Christmas dinner in a roaster oven. Little amenities like pot holders, hand towels and wash clothes should have been provided. Amenities list should be more descriptive in the listing.

Only issue we had was a mouse infestation. All beds with rodent feces and urine staining. The infestation is current as we dropped off our luggage and used the bathroom before leaving to go to the grocery store. Came back and feces in same bathroom.Given this stay was for my daughter’s graduation we had to stay the first night but left one day early.I would expect a refund for one night.

Much older property than we anticipated- shower doors in MBA would not open / slide easily.. no sheets on bed, just comforter and fitted sheet, no wash cloths just towels, the bare minimum in the home.

We stayed with family celebrating my daughter UNC Chapel Hill graduation. An older property in quiet and peaceful setting. Linens and towels for all guests. Basic kitchen supplies including pots, pans, Keurig pod coffee maker, toaster, cutting boards and knives, and cooking utensils. Seating for 6 at kitchen table. Some front porch furniture for beautiful front porch. Host was responsive to questions. Overall enjoyed our family time. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.
