Not ready for prime time

This VRBO is not ready for prime time. Heat could barely keep 60 degrees at night. Heat completely nonfunctional in one bedroom. Downstairs master door does not latch. Hot tub water was green and could not hold temperature. Sauna worked, but required owner to tell us the strange dial twisting combo. Lot of fire places, but no fire starters or kindling. Ice maker nonfunctional. Fridge water filter expired and clogged? Kitchen window has heavy draft and can't crank closed. Kitchen chair fell apart while sitting in it.Slow and incomplete communication with host. No house manual to understand how to operate things.This VRBO is NOT ready for your family or friends. It looks amazing in the listing, but leaves MUCH to be desired in reality.

Winter Weekend Getaway..

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's over the years, and this property had a lot of good things, but also had some issues that should be noted. First the highlights: The location is great, plenty of parking and very easy to get to. The hot tub is large and easily can accommodate 6-8 people comfortably. There was plenty of dishes and glasses to accommodate the 7 people we had. However, there was not nearly enough cookware (one frying pan). The ice dispenser did not work. The toaster was on its last leg, one side did not work at all, the other side burnt toast almost immediately. The hot water is very finicky...going from hot to cold very quickly. There are no instructions to deal with the temperature in the home; which we came to find out is controlled 100% remotely from the home owner. The mattresses are very worn, and the comforters should be replaced. When we did have to contact the owners to help with adjusting the heating...they were extremely prompt in assisting us. But overall, the house has really good bones...just needs some TLC.

The house was beautiful just as describe. Was decorated for us for xmas. The view stunning. Owners were very quick to respond and accommodating. Fit our family of 10 perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible Property!

Perfect getaway to Wintergreen!! We celebrated our twins’ birthday on the mountain, and this property was perfection. The real wood-burning fireplace smelled incredible, we loved the hot tub after skiing, and the sauna was amazing! Such a nice property and the owners were very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you, for an amazing stay! **Make sure to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap as they are not provided. **

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was beautiful and very comfortable. It was even decorated for Christmas. There was lots of space and the sauna and hot tub were an added bonus. I would definitely stay again.

Breathtaking

This Chateaux is gorgeous! Absolutely clean, stocked, & amazing views. The hot tub was relaxing and the perfect way to end the day. It was such a cozy stay with plenty of lights, towels, windows for letting the natural light in and other amenities! Definitely the best place to stay with a group of close friends who want to get away from work/city life. Change the scenery and enjoy a nice stay 10/10

This house was a complete hit for a birthday celebration amongst 10 girlfriends. It was a perfect floor plan for entertaining and we enjoyed the deck with the hot tub and gas fireplace. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect Getaway!

We have been to Wintergreen many times. This was one of our favorite places to stay. The property is beautiful and the house is well thought out. Loved watching the deer frolic in the field from the hot tub! 10 out of 10!
