This was the perfect place for us to stay. It was conveniently located with shopping and dining in very close proximity. The rooms were very spacious and had somewhat of a vintage feel. The wooden floors were amazing, breakfast was great, staff were very friendly, and it was very quiet. Some people talked about the limited parking in back of hotel, but we never had a problem parking, and there was always available spots. If ever visiting Natchitoches in the future, this will definitely be my go to hotel!! The BEST!!

Cannot say enough about the employees here! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and the best eggs ever! The cheesy eggs with peppers!! Hotel was nice. Elevator was slow with only one the guest could use. The parking was close but small…would stay again by all means!

Upon arrival. We had a an issue checking in due to us doing the pre check in. Front staff told us we had to do check in over again because their system isn’t connected with Wyndham where they can see we already completed self check in. When we got to the room; King suit, it was absolutely dirty! The floors were dusty and not swept or mopped. Pulled the sheet back on the bed and there was hair, crumbs and stains on the sheets. Microwave dirty, coffee maker dirty and the shower still had hair from previous customers. We had to get someone to come cleaning again and it was half decent after. The front staff was somewhat understanding but stated they couldn’t give anything off just the money back from the hotel breakfast we paid for and free drink tickets to the bar. Would not stay again unless they have new housekeeping staff who knows how to do their job

Reading all the recent reviews I was a little worried. Its not a 4 star hotel and never suggested that it was. For the price its was a nice stay and friendly guest. Free Breakfast was a plus. Great Value!

This hotel has gone way downhill. 1/2 elevators was broken, 3/4 ice makers were broken, the furniture in the room was broken, the bathroom needed a good cleaning especially in the tub. We have really enjoyed staying here in the past, but the condition will keep us from coming again. There was also no one at the front desk to check us in for 10-15 minutes at 7:30-8pm on a Friday night. We asked for adjoining rooms (even called ahead to find the correct room types to adjoin) and they put us in rooms on floor 1 and 4 - about as far apart as you can get. The breakfast was really good however. Real scrambled eggs and grits.

Long time guests checking out for good

We have been staying here since shortly after it opened and genuinely cannot believe the level of deterioration allowed at this once-great hotel. There was mold in the shower, the walls are gross, the 4th floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke the first two days and marajuana the last day. Housekeeping at 9 in the morning on a Saturday or not at all. Staff desperately needs training. The whole property, staff included, gives off an air of neglect and lack of care. It really is unbelievable seeing it get this bad.
