Just for a quick rest and shower

I had 10 hours between flights so I only used the room to rest and shower. It is conveniently located, only a 10 minute walk from the train station and it's an easy walk too as it is just a straight shot. Along the way, you will find many places to eat and even an arcade next to the train station which was perfect for my nephew. The hotel did not allow us to check in early but they stored our luggage for us. I had no idea how to operate the air conditioner once we were in the room as everything was in Japanese. The lady working the front desk didn't speak the best English but was very helpful. She came up to the room with me to help me and even came back a little bit later to make sure everything was okay. The hotel served my needs so I don't have any complaints.

Close to kanayamma station

I stayed in hotel Hotel Kiyoshi Nagoya No.2 twice on 2023 and in 2017. It Only Takes A Minute from Higashibetsun station.

Cheap stay nr Kanayama and Higashibetsuin station

I was enticed to stay here because of the cheap cost. It was tight, and it wasn't gorgeous, but it was just what I needed: a place to stay for the night. There was free internet and they provided the Ethernet cable so I could get online. There was a refrigerator, hair dryer, t.v., A/C, washlet toilet, everything a hotel should have. From the cheap price, I didn't expect freebies, but they provided shampoo, hair conditioner, body soap, shower cap, toothbrush, comb, tea powder, and a simple yukata (nightgown) to wear in the room. The only drawback is the distance from Nagoya Station. It's about a 10 minute walk, which is walkable, but can be difficult with lots of luggage. Also, it would be good to call a few days before to confirm the reservation. I called to ask if I could do a late check-in and the hotel person there said he couldn't find my reservation. After calling Expedia, the customer service person at Expedia called the hotel and clarified the situation. Had I not called, I would have been in a difficult situation. Other than that, I am satisfied.

I need to stay to Nagoya from time to time but don't want to break the bank. I find that Hotel Kiyoshi is a great option! Clean hotel, great service, great location( near a major station). Rooms a tipical Japanese business hotel rooms, small but cosy. There is coin laundry in the hotel which can be convenient for longer stays. As opposed to what the add said, they don't have wifi.
