Great Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! Everything was clean, and the location on the river was absolutely great! We enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the river and listening to the sounds of the flowing water along with the various singing birds. We especially liked sitting on the porch overlooking the creek each morning while drinking our coffee. We made lasting memories and enjoyed "unplugging" and spending time in nature and with family!

Mountain paradise

Loved everything about our stay. The only disappointment was that we have 2 boys that love to fish but the water is very shallow and they didnt have much luck catching anything.

Great Memories

This place has it all if you want a true Western North Carolina experience. Kayak right out the back with the provided Kayaks. Teenage girls had a blast and the home cooked meals were the best. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for the lifelong memories.

Spectacular view

The home was very clean and the view was spectacular. The only two complaints were all of the beds were old (need to be replaced) and the other is they have well water which smelt of sulfure and was not pleasant.

Breath Of River/Mountain Air

Perfect Is All I Can Say. I have 3 friends already that want to bring their families just from the pictures ive posted. No doubt we'll be back. The kitchen is perfect to cook meals and just quality family time together ❤️

Location! Location! Location! If you are looking for a spot that you can walk out of the back door and jump in the river, this is it. All you need to enjoy a breakaway from the daily grind can be had; plus, it's conveniently located to downtown Murphy!

Another great stay.

Was our second time vusiting. Was again a nice and quiet getaway. Will definitely be back again. River was nice and cold for a dip in at the bank. Plus fire pit came in handy for smoking up some local trout.

On the River

We enjoyed our stay on the river. The house was very clean and smelled so good. We fished every day! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the river. Very nice house and private.

Family Fly Fishing Trip

Beautiful place on the River to stay. Drive on the road to the house was easy, not scary like some others. Purpose of our stay was for our boys (10,14 and 15 yrs. old) was to fish. Unfortunately, it rained during our stay which stirred up the water and made the fish not want to bite. We did catch two lady fish, one catfish and there were lots of mud skippers (caught by net) though, so it was enough that our boys enjoyed.

Get away from the city.

Was a great location to get away. It was nice and quiet. Kids loved fishing in the river, was a bit too cold to take out the kayaks. All in all will try to come back in the summertime. Communication with Le Ann was great from check in. Just a heads up cell service was kinda in and out but didnt mind at all.

The house was super clean. The location was awesome, right on the river's edge. I spent many hours sitting and reading outside. The owners were very nice and communicative. We were there at the perfect leave-changing time. We would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous View

This home had such a beautiful view of the fall colors straight across the river. Peaceful listening to the flow of the river from the porch. Clean and well stocked and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed our stay very much, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Amazing Getaway

Wonderful Escape From the World

This was our first use of Vrbo, and the process could not have been simpler. The property owner was responsive, friendly, and the location marvelous. I look forward to renting this home away from home again some day in the future!

Fantastic!

Exactly what was presented! House was perfect. View to die for. Caught a huge trout on the 3rd cast and several yellow perch...yum. In contact with owner who was more than accommodating. Highly recommend.
