This was our second stay at this cabin and we can’t wait to go back. The cabin is close to everything and not too far from the casino. The cabin itself is super clean the beds are so comfortable. Cabin is large in size and very nicely decorated. The hot tub was fantastic in perfect working order. I can’t say enough about the fire pit. We sat by it every night. We didn’t see any deer this time but saw squirrels. The cabin had everything we needed inside and out. Plenty of supplies. The owners are very helpful and communication is great. Very nice people. Overall stay… A. Can’t wait to return.

Very Spacious cabin, although we were only 2 this cabin will easily fit a large family. Cabin very clean, rooms comfortable had more than enough supplies inside and out. The hot tub was large in perfect running condition. We LOVED the fire pit. Spent many of hours around it. The s’mores station was a very cute touch. Whoever decorated the cabin thought about small details. We loved it. It was also close to many things to do. The communication with the owners was excellent. Very nice people and responsive which is a plus!!We will positively stay here again in the future.Wish we could’ve stayed longer.. but back to work.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I were very happy with our stay. We try to get away just us once or twice a year and this was our first time in Murphy. The house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub although it was a little hotter than we like and not being able to change it made are usually longer stays a little shorter but this will not keep us from returning. At first we were a bit concerned that I-64 can be seen from the front of the house but everything is situated nicely in the back and the noise was non exsistant. We still felt it was private and secluded and hope to return when we return to Murphy

Great place to stay while at Folk School

Excellent place to stay while at Folk School. The home is a nice one level ranch with 2 baths and an extra bathroom in the laundry.Had a small issue with the heat, but once we called, the owners took care of it immediately.

TERRIBLE MUSTY SMELL

Location convenient but within 150 yards of highway constant drone of heavy trucks especially in the early am,. had to open doors and windows to remove a musty smell, if you have allergies not the place to be -we left a week early due to this, but it also turned out to be a blessing due to hurricane.- the crawl space under house needs to have circulation that is where the smell is coming from. sorry but would not return

Good place to stay but not secluded

Overall enjoyed the experience. Listing described the location as secluded, but you can hear the highway traffic in the bedrooms and especially at the fire pit, which ruins the "in the woods" experience. Note there is a Ring doorbell system that watches your coming and goings.

Great Setting and Comfortable!

My family and I were very impressed with this property! It was our first VRBO! It is located in a great setting. It was comfortable. It was relaxing and the hosts seem to have thought of everything. My only suggestions are minimal and they are that the master bedroom has a strange odor. Not necessarily bad but odd. The only other thing is high touch places like doors looked like they needed wiped down. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this wonderful home we would 100% stay here again.

Great cabin beautiful location

Super pretty cabin and was super clean! Stayed with just my husband for a romantic weekend but a small family would also fit comfortably. We had an issue with the hottub when we arrived but the host got some one out to fix it while we were out of the house the next day. Not the only house around but is surrounded by woods on all sides so you dont even notice. Hot tub is in a great spot for watching the wild life that wonders through the back side of property. There is some highway noise outside but it wasn’t enough to hear inside. Great cabin in a great location

Girls Getaway

Cabin was tucked away in the mountains just 10 mins away from Murphy, if that. The inside was beautiful and decorated really nicely. There's plenty of space for 6-8 people I feel at most to enjoy themselves here. The beds are very comfortable and the hottub gets very hot and is big and roomy. The fire pit is nice and the screened-in-porch in nice to sit in watch the nature in the mornings. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again myself.

Private, easy access and quiet

We enjoyed staying in this clean cute home! It was very comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. It was really nice having a tv in every bedroom! We were able to enjoy visiting and relaxing with friends. It is close to Murphy, NC. We wanted to shop antique and thrift stores during our stay and the location of this home was just perfect for us! The check-in and check-out process was easy! The location really allows for privacy! We like having a clean, quiet, peaceful place and this one definitely provides all of this to their guests! We did not have any issues during our stay! My contact with the host, (owners) was very responsive and friendly. If we were planning to be in this area again, we would want to stay here!

Mountain vacation

We make a trip every year to bring my MIL up to the mountains. This year we wanted to see Hiawassee and Helen Georgia as well. This cabin was GREAT location to be able to visit it all! The first thing she said when we arrived was how nice it was! The cabin had all we needed! The beds were very comfortable too. We even had a doe stop by one morning with her twins. The hot tub was relaxing in the evening after a day of sightseeing!! The owners were quick to respond with my questions and property mgr was very helpful!!
