The "Steiermark" vacation chalet, built in 2015, is a very cozy, modern vacation home constructed of wood. The house spans two floors. The first floor features a spacious, light-filled living and dining area with an open kitchen, an entryway with a coat closet and ski boot dryer, and a small bathroom with a toilet and shower. The upper floor features four bedrooms and a large bathroom with a shower, a corner whirlpool tub, and an infrared sauna. The house also has a partially covered sun terrace measuring approximately 50 m² with an outdoor hot tub and parking spaces. From the terrace, you have access to the house’s large garden, which features a swing and slide for children and a ping-pong table (paddles and balls provided).<br><br>The house is located on the outskirts of the small town of Murau in a quiet and spacious vacation complex, surrounded by the Murau mountains. Murau, as the district capital, offers restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as its own brewery with an attached brewery restaurant and a variety of grocery stores and shopping options for daily needs. <br><br>The region also offers a wide range of attractions, including sights, traditional customs, and a diverse array of activities in both summer and winter.<br>Extensive mountain hikes with rustic mountain huts, a natural swimming pool at the foot of the former ski jump facility, tennis courts (use included with your reservation) and a fitness center right next door, an 18-hole golf course in the immediate vicinity, the 457-km-long Mur Cycle Path, which runs right past the Steiermark Vacation Chalet, as well as the Kreischberg ski area with state-of-the-art lifts and gondolas and 40 kilometers of excellently groomed slopes of all difficulty levels—leave nothing to be desired for your vacation.<br><br>The house features a modern photovoltaic system to supplement the power supply. Additionally, there is a charging station for electric cars located right next to the house. The wallbox is activated by the property owner.
