My husband, daughter, and I were visiting Kentucky to meet family. The booking process was easy and the owner was very nice to talk to through chat.
The only things that are important to know 1) the house is literally smack-dab in the middle of two businesses, a funeral home and a counseling center. Then beside that, a check cashing place. We were a bit worried about what that might bring but we’re surprised that there wasn’t any sketchy. 2) there is no stove/oven. There is a double hot plate which is ok. But I didn’t realize it at first when looking at the pictures and reading the description. We ate out but had snacks for our 2 year old and we’re able to utilize the microwave. 3) if you’re like me and a boujee, leopard print lovin, Stanley cup toting mama, you’ll find the best little boutiques just down the street within walking distance. 4) if you forgot something that you need, Walmart is not far away. 5) this house is old. It’s not bad but it has creeky floors, old doors, and charm.
Overall, it was a great experience and pleased with our accommodations.
