Inside the house was very clean and decorated very nicely. The furniture in living room was cute, but not very comfortable. House was missing paper towels, hand towels in bathroom, and only one in kitchen. Communicated with host and the cleaner insisted to them towels were there. Sent pictures back to prove it to host with no further response. Owner apologized, but there was no solution. Outside the house the landscaping was run down and many plants were dead. Location is good, but a little far for us to walk downtown. Overall a basic property and a little bit of a let down for my birthday weekend trip.

Property was excellent. Within walking distance of downtown. Everything was renovated and upgraded and very clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. If we're back in Mt. Dora, we will definitely stay here again (family of 5).

This is our 2nd stay for our annual girls trip. Perfect location with easy and safe walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. Tracy goes above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience on both occasions. Everything is just as pictured and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend! Thank you and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

We (3 adult couples) rented Abigael Cottage for 2 nights during the annual craft fair which was about 3 blocks from the downtown festivities. This home was very clean and comfortable, inside and outside. Of the many places we have rented through VRBO, this one had the better supply of kitchen supplies (plates, silverware, pots and pans). An added plus was the communications with the owner who was very generous with her time and ensuring we had a wonderful trip.

Quiet, convenient, and clean

The house is lovely. We loved the openness of the kitchen and living area. The layout was perfect. Four of us stayed and never felt cramped. We contacted the host twice and the responses were almost immediate. We’d definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the cottage!

We had a great time and the house was very nice for our family last weekend. Came with my son, hubbie, & my mom. Only about 8 min walk to historic downtown area so very convenient for my family & my doing the 1/2 marathon on 12/22. The house itself is very modern inside with an open floor plan and minimalist decor. Pretty colors! We especially loved the kitchen area. The only feedback would offer is that would recommend more comfortable seating in the living room area. A large sectional couch would provide more comfortable seating for when wanting to watch a movie together with family and for older people. Would look cute & cozier too! Also, to provide hand towels in the kitchen & bathroom would be a plus Other than that, we were very happy with the cottage. Tracy was fantastic communicating with us & her flexibility for checking in & later checkout! Thank u so very much!

Christmas spirit!

This was a wonderful experience! Ease of entry, quick response from Tracy, location, location. location, accommodations superb! A few items we thought of to improve an already wonderful holiday. More towelring/rack in half bath , towel rack in hall bath, hooks in fireplace bedroom or over the door for hanging clothes, hand towels, mirror in fireplace room, no slip stickers in tub and plunger. All to say the lack of any of the listed did not hinder our wonderful weekend. Hope to be back in the area at least next year for the holiday festivities. Thank you!
