Family vacation

Our family loved the beautiful home on the river. It was the perfect size for our family of 10. The children loved the pool and all the games. It was a very relaxing week and we were very impressed with how clean and how nice the house was. We enjoyed visiting Mt Airy as our children love the Andy Griffith show.

AWESOME!!

Girl's Annual Trip was amazing!! This cabin is absolutely stunning. Plenty of room for a large group and the amenities are SUPERB!! Kitchen is excellently stocked, best I've ever seen! Hope to go with a family group next time!!!

Perfect getaway

This is a beautiful home! The property feels secluded but it’s actually in town close to everything. Perfect for a family with all ages - playroom for toddlers, game room for older kids. It was perfect!

Fantastic Family Getaway

We were very happy with the property and our 5-day stay in early March. The house is updated and beautifully decorated with great showers, plenty of beds and a very well stocked kitchen. The bedrooms comfortably housed our five kids, elementary through young adult. The Grandparents appreciated the detached cottage for their own space when they came to visit. It was a bit early for the pool but the kids loved being able to play on the large rocks in the river and discovered a box turtle (named him "Amazon). We enjoyed reading on the lounge chairs on the deck, cooked smores in the campfire ring at night and everyone enjoyed the outdoor and indoor games as well as the Ms. Pac-Man game and extensive Wii game collection. Beata communicated well and answered all of our questions. 5-Star host! We talked about how great this property would be for a family reunion and that we might like to return some day. Highly recommend!

Family Birthday Celebration

We were beyond impressed with this beautiful home and property. We Our grandchildren loved the outside space to run, play and enjoy the creek. The home and cottage were beautifully decorated, well stocked and immaculately maintained and clean. We hope to visit again!

Mt Airy Escape

We only stayed for one night passing through however we made the best of it! The property was absolutely incredible! Located right on the river…very private! Well appointed as we loved the “pay it forward” kitchen! Guest house was amazing as well! Hot tub and outdoor shower were a bonus! All the rooms and common areas were well appointed! Nice quiet relaxing vacation

The place is amazing. Our kids enjoyed the pool (although it's pretty cold and doesnt get sun by mid-September). The river out back was a big hit...my only suggestion would be it was hard for the kids to get down to the river....some stairs or at least a better, cleared pathway down the embankment to the water would have resolved that issue! Its pretty steep and covered in plants currently... House was spectacular, very clean, playroom was an amazing thing to have to keep our kids entertained without having to pack and bring a bunch of toys with us! Would definitely stay again, highly recommended this for a family vacation spot!

Wonderful trip

My hubby & I were so in need of a peaceful trip and we were not disappointed! The property was lovely & we enjoyed the seclusion! Our pup & I reveled in the calm of the river space & nature. The only thing we would change was the weather, but no way to do that, is there? This is a great space for couples or families! We’ll stay again earlier in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful pool!

Wonderful getaway

We really enjoyed the location and amenities that this property offers. It's a short drive to downtown Mt. Airy, but feels secluded and private. The pool area is bordered with Tulip trees. The house is well-lit, clean and stocked. The internet speed is great and allows for multiple streaming devices.

Perfect Retreat w family or friends

We absolutely LOVED this VRBO in Mt Airy, NC, so muck so we intend on renting the exact same place next year. The house was large enough for my family of 5, my sisters family of 4 and our mother. (Kids ranged from 7-17). The house was clean, spacious, stocked, the pool was great for the kids, and the ability for us all to go down to the creek for a bonfire/smores @ night and/or cozy up to a movie or show in either the up or downstairs was perfect. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms had everything you could possibly need. Beatra was communicative, friendly and accommodating. 5⭐️’s, highly recommend.

Great family stay, plenty to do, and so much more.

We had 14 stay here for a week and had plenty of room. We had adults, teen, younger kids, and 2 small dogs, all had a great time. There was plenty to do without even leaving the property. We cooked all but 1 night (visiting a local restaurant 13 Bones which was great and decently priced), and the kitchen had everything we needed with appliances, pots, pans, etc and the gas stove was great. The dinning room table is beautiful, and was great to be able to all sit together for each meal, but also to sit and play cards, etc. With the "pay it forward" kitchen of spices, refrigerator, and pantry we had lots of items that we otherwise would have had to buy. We did make a visit to a nearby Sam's in Winston-Salem and then had everything we needed. The home had plenty of towels and having 2 washers and dryers was nice too. The guest house was nice with a 1.5 year old to have a separate place to nap and go to sleep at night. The kids loved the pool, even though it was a little chilly (which is clearly stated that it's not heated). The hot tub was very nice and in great shape. Plenty of places to sit and read. The firepit by the river was nice and we made s'mores one night. The path to the lower part by the river could be a little slick after a rain, and is a little coming back up. We played the disc golf course multiple times while there, and was nice for experiencd players and beginners too. The owner was also great and very responsive, to any questions or concerns we had.

Absolutely wonderful, unique and relaxing

This home had everything you could need and want for a family vacation. There was a play loft with so many toys, books and activities for young kids. The disc golf course and beautiful setting kept the adults happy. The kitchen had everything you could need and very nice utensils, cookware, etc. the home was extremely clean and so nicely done. The setting was so serene, the sound of the river and beautiful deck to enjoy the pool was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The only thing that would have put the trip even more over the top was if the pool had been heated. I’m sure in the middle of the summer it would be warm enough to enjoy but it was still pretty to sit by.
