When we arrived, the property manager called asking if the house was clean because they had not heard from the cleaning people. Since we literally just walked through the door, I told her it looked like it had been. After settling in, we found wet folded towels on the bathroom counter, the sheets had not been changed as we found dirt and hair on both beds. The property manager was very apologetic and gave us the code to the owners closet where there were more sheets but unfortunately those were also dirty, so we ended up washing sheets our first night. The porch out front was filthy and we were not able to enjoy it. There were spider webs, leaves, and dirt all over the place. The fire pit and sitting area was also a mess. My son wanted to roast marshmallows but we were unable to do that because of the condition it was in. The property manager kept checking on us and apologizing and since she was not local, it was hard for her to do anything but to say the least, our trip was not what we were expecting. The windows upstairs have no curtains/blinds so every car turning in at night is seen as their headlights shine through the windows. The campground itself was great but we were not impressed with our stay.
